⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic experience at Kabana in Richmond Hill. The food was fresh, perfectly grilled, incredibly flavorful, and you could really taste the quality in every bite. The kebabs were especially outstanding — juicy, tender, and cooked exactly right. A huge thank you to Javad, Kian, and Milad for making the experience even better. Their hospitality, attention, and genuinely warm service made us feel like guests rather than customers. Great food, great people, and the kind of place you actually want to come back to. Kabana has definitely earned a spot on my Richmond Hill favorites list. Highly recommended!

Been coming here for 7 years now, it's very cozy, food is green. It's very affordable. You got a real Iran feel. I feel like the one stars are very unfair. This place should be rated much higher

One of the best Persian grill restaurants I’ve been to! The food was incredibly fresh, juicy, and full of authentic flavor. The kebabs and liver were perfectly cooked, and every dish tasted homemade. The staff were warm, welcoming, and provided excellent service. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. If you’re looking for delicious Persian barbecue and a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Kabana B.B.Q offers an authentic Persian barbecue experience. The atmosphere truly brought me back to Iran, especially the restaurants in the north of Tehran like Farahzad, Darband, and Darakeh. We tried almost all the different types of BBQ, and overall the food was very good. The only item we didn’t enjoy much was the dombalan (sheep testicles). The service was a bit slow, which is understandable given it was Christmas Day. The lady who served our food was very kind and respectful. I also really loved the picture of the Royal Family at the front desk—it added a special touch.

We were there on Sunday afternoon and the service was great. Loved the food, loved the freshly baked bread, tea set was super cute and it tasted nice. We got one Shisha too which was good. I really enjoyed our time there, would definitely recommend! Just one tiny note, the interior design needs an upgrade.

Best quality, highly recommend

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after being a loyal customer of Jigaraki Baghcheh for almost 10 years, I felt I had to share my experience. We were a group of 9 and understood that the restaurant was busy. We waited about 20–25 minutes for a table because the restaurant is small, which was completely understandable. However, it seemed like the entire dining area was being managed by just one young waiter, who was expected to seat customers, take orders, clean tables, serve food, and attend to everyone. It was clear he was overwhelmed, which affected the overall service. When it came time to order, no one properly attended to us. To make things easier, I wrote down everyone’s order myself, making sure each person’s meal was listed separately. I specifically told the waiter that if he couldn’t read my handwriting, he should come back and ask me, or I could even read it to him. He look

This used to be our favorite place before the management changed. Unfortunately, the new owner’s attitude has completely changed the atmosphere. The restaurant no longer feels welcoming. This was our third visit since the new management took over, and we’ve been disappointed every single time. We won’t be coming back. They seem to increase their prices every couple of months. Each skewer has gone up by about $1, making the food much more expensive while the quality of the service has declined. We still enjoy jigar, but we’ll wait until another restaurant opens or find somewhere else to go in Toronto. What disappointed us the most is that they don’t value or accommodate loyal, regular customers.

went there today with my friend. quality was terrible and portion was very small compared to what you pay for. Spent $50 on liver, kidney, and heart and didn’t even get full. If you charge high prices at least provide good quantity so people will actually get full.

Very disappointing experience. The customer service was extremely poor, and the staff were not respectful or helpful. On top of that, I was charged an extra fee for something that was never clearly explained or agreed to. Adding unexpected charges without proper explanation is unacceptable. Unfortunately, despite being an Iranian BBQ restaurant, the overall experience was very frustrating, and I would not recommend this place.

⭐️ Very disappointed with the customer service at Kabana. The way the employees spoke to customers was extremely rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. Customer service is a major part of any business, especially in Canada, and customers deserve to be treated with basic respect. I honestly don’t understand how this kind of behavior is acceptable. Management seriously needs to address this issue and train the staff on how to properly communicate with customers.

Delicious food but the prices are a bit high for the portion they serve you.
