6 months agoI had a really great experience at this Persian supermarket. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming—they’re always ready to help and make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. They’re also very patient and take the time to assist you with anything you need, which I really appreciate. What I love most is that they have a great selection of Persian sweets, and everything tastes fresh and delicious. They also have some really nice and unique options in the store, like letting you play your favorite song while shopping, which makes the whole experience more fun and personal. On top of that, the prices are very fair and reasonable, especially for the quality you get. Overall, it’s a reliable spot with a warm atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Persian market!

10 months agoI can’t say enough good things about this place. For the longest time, I was looking for a local shop where I could grab groceries late in the evening, pick up dinner, or find something sweet for a small celebration, and this place has become exactly that for me. This cozy little shop truly feels like a second home. It’s now my go-to for Persian yogurt, fresh bread, jam, spices, ice cream, and pastries. We recently ordered food for guests, and that was the moment I knew I had to leave a review. The food was incredible, comforting, and full of heart. The prices are a fraction of what you’d pay at a high-end Persian restaurant, but the taste is something else entirely, like food made by my grandmother, honestly better than anywhere else I’ve tried. This shop hasn’t just made my life easier, it’s made the neighborhood feel warmer and more connected. There’s something really reassuring ab

3 months agoI’m extremely happy with my experience at this Unique supermarket. I’ve been shopping here for almost a year, and everyone who works here is always very friendly and welcoming! The grocery prices can sometimes be $1–$3 higher compared to other Persian supermarkets in North York, but considering the convenient midtown location, I completely understand the difference. I recently tried their soft-serve saffron pistachio ice cream, and it was absolutely amazing! ⭐️ I loved the combination of cardamom and saffron flavours, topped with pistachios. The portion size was perfect, and it was $5.99. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to explore delicious Persian flavours.

4 months agoWe had an incredible experience here! The Persian food was outstanding, especially the Zereshk Polo and Halim, which were among the best we’ve had anywhere in North America. The Persian grocery selection was also excellent and brought back authentic flavors and memories. The zereshk drink and lavashak juice were absolutely amazing and unique, and the ice cream was delicious as well. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and carefully prepared. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Persian food and products!

3 weeks agoCompared with other Iranian supermarkets I’ve shopped at, this store charges at least $2–$3 more for most items. For example, the sugar is $2 more, the phyllo dough is $1.50 more, and the frozen fava beans are $2.50 more.

4 months agoEverything in business comes down to customer service, respect, and how you treat people. Success is not only about selling something — it’s also about behavior, understanding others, and never judging or speaking badly about people. Unfortunately, this couple seems to still have a lot to learn about customer service and professionalism. I’m especially disappointed because they represent our Iranian/Persian community, and I believe we should treat everyone with kindness and respect instead of questioning or judging people around us. I truly hope they take time to reflect on this experience and make positive changes in the future.

4 months agoVery disappointing experience. The owner was rude, unfriendly, and showed no respect toward customers. The quality of the products was also poor, with several items not appearing fresh. I expected much better service and professionalism. I will not be returning.

6 months agoThe food I purchased from this supermarket was clearly expired and had a strong bad smell. The soup and the eggplant stew were both spoiled to the extent that we had no choice but throw them away and make me feel embarrassed in front of my guests.

a year agoI recently purchased Zereshk Polo from this store, and unfortunately, both my daughter and I experienced food poisoning after consuming it. Additionally, the pastries I bought were sour, not fresh, and significantly overpriced—nearly double compared to other Persian stores in the area. On top of that, none of the grocery items in the store had pricing labels, making it very inconvenient to shop. This experience was highly disappointing, and I cannot recommend this store to others.
