I’ve been going to Glori Colour (Tisi joon) for my hair color and highlights, and I’m always beyond happy with the results. I can’t recommend her enough! She did an amazing job. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and made sure every detail was perfect. I had an amazing experience at Glori, especially with Yalda. She was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what would be best for my hair rather than simply doing whatever I asked for. I really appreciated her honesty and professionalism. My hair had significant damage and breakage from years of bleaching and using hot tools, so I was nervous about getting a straightening treatment and protein therapy. Yalda carefully assessed my hair and was able to achieve fantastic results without causing further damage. My hair looks healthier, smoother, and stronger than it has in a long time. What also stood out was how efficient she was. She worked quickly without ever compromising on quality or attention to detail, and there was no unnecessary waiting between steps of the treatment. I had booked an appointment for highlights on a Friday and had reserved my spot more than a week in advance because it was my anniversary and I had taken time off work for this appointment. Before booking, I sent photos of my hair, and my hair was approved. I also paid a $50 deposit to secure my appointment. On the day of the appointment, I arrived excited for the service, but after seeing my hair in person, I was told that no work could be done because my hair was too damaged and did not look like the photos I had sent. I explained that the photos were taken after styling and blow-drying my hair, and that if my hair were blow-dried that day, it would look very similar. I also mentioned that I have been getting highlights for over 10 years and know my hair well. Despite this, they refused to proceed with the service. I wanted to share my honest experience. The salon address was quite confusing, and the space itself was very small. I went there for balayage, but after seeing my hair, she immediately said, “you have so much hair.” She then honestly suggested that balayage might not be the best option because my hair was dry, and I genuinely appreciated her opinion. Since I had already come all the way there, I asked if she could simply do a basic hair color instead. However, her attitude changed, and she started speaking to me in a rude tone, saying my hair was dirty and that “this is not Iran” and I can’t wash your hair. I explained that my hair was not dirty and that I use an anti-hair-loss serum, which can make it look slightly oily. She still insisted it looked like I had not washed my hair for a week. Since there was another client there, I chose not to argue. She then said my hair needed treat

The most disappointing part of my experience at Glori Colour wasn’t even the service it was the constant need to criticize other salons. Rather than letting their own work and reputation speak for themselves, they repeatedly spoke negatively about other businesses and suggested that clients coming from elsewhere had damaged or burned hair. It gave me the impression that putting down other salons was being used as a way to make their own business look better. In my opinion, no professional should feel the need to damage another business’s reputation in order to attract clients. If your skills and results are truly exceptional, they should speak for themselves. Building your business by creating doubt about everyone else is not ethical, not professional, and certainly not something I respect. Terrible Job

About a year ago, I had my highlights done by Tisi (Glori Colour). Unfortunately, my opinion changed completely after that. Recently, when I went back to her, I was told that MY HAIR WAS TOO DAMAGED and that I would need to wait 6 TO 12 more months before having anything else done, even though I had taken excellent care of my hair and had used all the products and treatments she had recommended, and no other salon had touched my hair during that year. I followed every aftercare recommendation exactly as instructed, making it extremely difficult to understand how my hair could be considered so damaged only one year later??? She was calling the result of her OWN WORK “too damaged” to touch again!!!! She was the one who did my highlights. At the same time, watching what happened to my mom after her appointment has been heartbreaking. I have watched her hair continue to BREAK, SNAP, SHED,
