I had a really great experience at Elmwood Park Dental. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental work, and because of that I had been neglecting my oral health for longer than I’d like to admit. I was pretty nervous going in, but the entire team was incredibly kind and completely non-judgmental. My dentist, Dr. Jain, and my hygienist, Nasrin, were amazing. They met me with nothing but compassion and made my comfort a priority the whole time. I ended up having 4 appointments over about 3 weeks to get my teeth back to where they should be, and throughout all of it they made sure everything was as comfortable and pain-free as possible. They checked in often and made sure I was doing okay. I’m really grateful for how supportive and understanding they were. I came in for an extraction and was really nervous, but everyone made me feel so comfortable and reassured throughout the whole visit. The staff were kind, gentle, and welcoming, and the whole experience went so much better than I expected. I had a really great experience!

I have been a patient of Dr. Andre Hughes for over 10 years. I highly recommend him for his technical abilities and more over him. He has helped family members & friends with anxiety and/or trauma with empathy & patience giving them the best care. All the staff from reception to hygienists are welcoming, respectful, professional and sensitive to our needs consistently just like Dr. Hughes! As a person with disabilities he has always been inclusive & accommodates my needs. I highly recommend Dr. Hughes and his team!!!

This dental clinic just want to make money out of whatever options they see. Treatment could be done in far better way for kids. They given us estimate of around $4000 for my 3 yr old kid just for few cavities.

If you're considering this clinic, I would strongly encourage you to ask questions before agreeing to treatment. TL;DR: Repeated pressure tactics, misleading information about treatment coverage, and zero accountability afterward. I ultimately lost trust in this clinic and would not recommend it. I was a patient here for a few years. Early on, I saw a hygienist named Helen every six months. At every appointment, I was repeatedly told that my teeth were “very dirty” and that I needed cleanings more frequently. Despite brushing and flossing twice a day and being borderline obsessed about oral hygiene, I was convinced to start coming every four months, which meant paying roughly $200 out of pocket for the additional visits not covered by the insurance. Later, other hygienists told me my teeth were completely fine and that every six months was more than sufficient. I stayed because I like

Long time patient of both Christie park and elm park locations but I will no longer be returning. At my last cleaning appointment, I didn’t receive a check up from the dentist. I was due for a check up and even had x-rays taken but there was no check up. I had to return a few days later to do a check up with a different dentist and the wait was very long.

I have never felt so disrespected and condescended to by a medical professional in my life. I had to get a filling done (to address pain and too much sensitivity from old filling) and went to Elmwood since my usual dentist doesn't take CDCP. Huge mistake, I should have just paid $100s out of pocket. The dentist was late by more than 30 minutes to my appointment, and did a rushed job - when I told him the filling didn't quite feel right he suggested to just 'wait and see' if it's actually a concern. When I got home I realized that he had barely filled my molar! Every time I drank, no matter the temperature, I had intense pain since the nerves were so close to the surface. And when I ate food, literal chunks of food got stuck in there. I went back a week after to address the issue, and the same dentist refused to acknowledge that he made a mistake. This is indistinguishable from scam. Dr. Nilava in the clinic recommended silver caps for both my children. This is an expensive procedure that requires sedation. The caps are supposed to be in the child's mouth for years to protect any cavities to spread from the baby teeth to the permanent teeth. The silver cap broke three times already for my 7 year old. The first time it was the same year it was installed, 2023. In 2025, it broke the way sharp metal pieces were sticking out and harming her cheek. When I called back, they told me the next appointment was in January (several months from now). Then, they told me the doctor is only there on Saturdays and they can book me in a week's time. When I asked them 'Are you telling me my child is supposed to walk around with sharp metal pieces in their month from your cap for a week?' they didn't have an answer. They didn't provide any interim
