My experience with Magic Accounting was frustrating and disappointing. Their policy—“no work will begin until full payment is received”—was only clearly communicated after initial discussions. This should have been stated upfront. To show good faith, I sent $500 and also explained that I was willing to pay the remaining balance after reviewing my file before submission. This seemed like a reasonable request, but instead of working with me, they returned my payment and refused to proceed. This lack of transparency and flexibility caused unnecessary delays, especially with a tight HST filing deadline approaching. Overall, poor communication and a waste of time. I strongly recommend they clearly explain their payment terms to clients from the beginning.

Terrible service, doesn’t respond and wants payment before work is completed. Benhahahiahsjd thinks he’s the only accountant in Ontario. Save the stress and take your money elsewhere

I’ve filed my tax return with this company for the past two years, but I won’t this year because Ms. Javaheri and Mr. Behbahani are impolite and unhelpful in stressful situations. ⸻ P.S. changed 3 star to 1 (you're attitude doesn’t deserve my fair review) 1. I’m not in contact with the person you mentioned. Although I knew her and I’m sorry for her. 2. I was speaking with another dissatisfied customer you’re about to lose. 3. You filed my taxes last year, not two years ago (great documentation, by the way!). 4. The worst and rudest account. I emailed all my papers they charged me first and after I paid for the service I had to call him and I found out he didn't receive any of my T4 or medical receipt. When I try to explain to him that I already emailed you everything he started yelling at me on the phone that you are not my only customer I have 2500 clients I don't have time . Soooooo rude and I asked him to cancel the service and I only got half of my refund. So unprofessional I would not recommend him to anyone...

Edited. Previously gave 5 star, but after a couple of interactions and now zero responses for a service which was already paid for, Ben hasn't been replying or providing a copy of the documents he had claimed to have filled 3 times now... All of which CRA has said they never received. He even said they had recieved the case. After calling, they said there was no case open to begin with for a rejection to be made. This was (and continues to be) the most frustrating experience. Beyond disappointed. Response to you: I understand people take vacation, however, I've been requesting a copy of the documents for months!! The last time we spoke (a week before your vacation) you had AGREED to send a copy of the documents, which have already been PAID for. Still NOTHING. There is nothing to followup with since CRA has said, multiple times, you had not submitted or filed anything. Still to this day
