Every time I visit Persia Meat Shop, I’m impressed by how friendly, patient, and energetic the staff are. They create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The quality of the meat and products is excellent. Highly recommended!

Many years ago, when I was a student, I used to order my meat from Persian Meat. I would always ask for Mr. Ahad. Whenever I placed an order, I’d simply tell him it was for myself and he would kindly take care of the rest. When he asked how much I needed, I often didn’t know. He would patiently explain what I should order, prepare everything for me and even show me how to properly open and use the packaging. For years, I continued ordering from Persian Meat. Even after I moved farther away and had to drive an hour to get there, I still preferred to go back. Whenever I was in the area, I would call in advance and place my order. I did try other places for convenience or just to explore different options but none matched the quality, customer service or patience I experienced there. I was honestly disappointed with my experience. The prices are significantly higher than other butcher shops, but the quality of service doesn’t justify the premium. The staff were not particularly professional or customer-focused, and I didn’t feel welcomed as a customer. The selection of meat was also much more limited than I expected. Rather than feeling like a specialty butcher shop, it felt more like the meat section of a regular grocery store. Based on the advertising and reputation, I expected a much wider variety and a higher level of quality and service. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the image they promote. I hope they improve their customer service, expand their selection, and offer better value for the prices they charge.

The staff are always professional, friendly, and courteous, especially Mr. Yousef, who helped us with great patience and care. The quality of their meat and chicken is consistently excellent, always fresh and premium. Their service and products are so good that we regularly drive all the way from Hamilton just to buy our meat and chicken from them. Highly recommended!

Lots of variety for different types of meat. Very professional and helpful staff. Knowledgeable too. They also have beef bones available. They carry fresh meat of various cuts and also sell ready to cook meat. They offer to cut your meat thr way you like it (no fuss).

I recently visited Persia Meat Shop for the first time, despite living in Richmond Hill for 30 years. The shop has a lovely atmosphere, great energy, and a very welcoming staff. The quality of the meat is outstanding; I purchased half a baby goat for $213, and while it was definitely an overspent, it was worth every penny. My only suggestion would be to have a price list clearly displayed, as it can be a bit expensive. I will definitely be back!

I’ve had a couple of good experiences here. The staff are generally very welcoming and polite. One butcher seemed a bit serious, but he was still professional and helpful. The ready-mixed Koobideh was good, and some meat I bought for my own mix were also good. Prices are fair, especially for the raw meat. Overall, I think they deserve 5 stars rather than 4.

We bought meat from this shop a few days ago for a family gathering. We emphasized multiple times that we were hosting many guests and needed meat specifically suited for Kabab Koobideh, and the seller assured us this meat was perfect for it. Unfortunately, even though we prepared everything exactly according to our trusted recipe, all the kebabs fell off the skewers. As hosts, this caused us a massive amount of stress and completely ruined our evening. I definitely do not recommend buying meat for Koobideh from here, and I hope others can avoid making the same mistake.

Very disappointing experience. Yesterday I ordered ground veal and specifically asked for it to be ground only once. Instead, I received what looked like older beef mixed with excess fat, and it had been mixed by hand to hide the fat. I also bought chicken breasts that were extremely slimy and sticky—definitely not fresh. They were unusually large, and the fillets had been removed. When I called the store to address these issues, the owner of the store, Ahad, got very defensive, started yelling at me, gave no apology, and hung up on me while I was still talking. They may seem friendly in person, but their response to a legitimate complaint was unprofessional and dismissive. I will not be returning.

Everything is fine, and they’re all over you with compliments and affection until you ask about prices! After that, their attitude does a complete 180, and suddenly all the sweet talk disappears😂 If you don’t believe it, try it yourself!

This was my first time ordering from Persia Meat, and I placed my order over the phone. Unfortunately, they completely ignored my request and gave me something entirely different from what I wanted. I feel like I wasted $500 for nothing. Their customer service is very disappointing — they treat you nicely only until they take your money. I do not recommend them.

It doesn't have a bad smell in cooking and it tastes amazing in food.

They offer good quality meats and we are now regular customers.
