Everything was freshly made, flavorful, and generously portioned. Excellent value and one of the best Persian meals we’ve had. Highly recommend!

After being an online customer for over a year, this was my first and last time visiting this shop. I was charged $22 for a stew, and when they realized the portion was tiny, the rude cashier simply put $4 in coins in my hand without even apologizing or explaining anything. Is this a joke? Keep your $4. I put the money down and left. Customer service clearly isn’t a priority here. I’d heard about their rude attitude before, but now I’ve experienced it myself. Absolutely disappointing. Never ordering from or shopping here again.

Heeva Fine Food is a wonderful place for anyone who misses the tastes and flavors of Iran. The supermarket has a fantastic variety of Persian products, and you can find almost everything you might be missing from home, from familiar ingredients to traditional favorites. The butchery is another great feature, offering fresh meat and chicken, including delicious marinated options that are perfect for barbecue. The restaurant also has a wide selection of Persian dishes, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. It’s a great place to enjoy authentic Persian food and satisfy those cravings for home. The staff are all incredibly kind, caring, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a great destination for Persian food, groceries, and a little taste of Iran!

I ordered the Salari, which includes a skewer of koobideh (ground beef) and a skewer of chicken breast. The food itself was good and well-prepared. However, I found the pricing to be quite high for what was offered. There are many other restaurants in the area with similar quality at significantly lower prices. Because of that, I likely wouldn’t return.

I’ve been coming to Heeva Fine Foods regularly for quite some time, even though it’s not particularly close to where I live. We usually come for the food and often pick up groceries while we’re here. The store is always clean, well-organized, and well-managed, with a great selection of Persian groceries and other food items. The food is consistently excellent. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu over multiple visits, but my go-to favourites are the koobideh and lamb shank. On my most recent visit, we ordered koobideh for takeout, and it was fantastic. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned, incredibly tender and juicy, and full of flavour. It’s the kind of food that keeps you coming back. One thing that really stands out is the hospitality. I used to go here often but it seems as time passes it's getting worst, the salad they give you the box is half full which the sauce takes up most of the box itself but they charge for a combo !!!!!You can do better don't rip people off and insult their intelligence, One tomato and one cucumber and couple shreds of carrots this is not good!!!I hope that you take this as constructive criticism.

Heeva a is our go-to place for this delicious take out. We have ordered here many times and will keep coming back. The online ordering service is easy and fast. I highly recommend everyone try the koobideh kebab, ghormeh sabzi, and koofteh. They’re absolutely amazing!

I was very disappointed with my experience at this store. When I entered, I was asked to leave my bag at the entrance. I have been to many grocery persian stores, and I have never been asked to hand over my personal bag before. I also visit this store quite often, and this has never happened to me before. Being asked to leave my bag at the door made me feel uncomfortable and upset. I understand that stores may have security policies, but I believe customers should be treated with respect and made to feel comfortable while shopping. Unfortunately, this experience left me very disappointed

⚠️ VERY DISAPPOINTING AND UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE ⚠️ I am extremely upset and disappointed by what happened at this store. The cashier noticed that I was in a hurry and scanned several of my items TWICE, resulting in me being charged for products I had not purchased twice. What makes this even more disturbing is that I had mentioned I was visiting from Ottawa. It felt as though he assumed I was a traveler who would simply leave and never have the opportunity to come back and question the extra charges. This is completely unacceptable. Taking advantage of a customer’s situation and knowingly overcharging them is dishonest and deeply disappointing. And as someone from the same country, I find this behavior especially shameful. I Do Not Recommend Heeva Anymore Heeva used to be my go-to spot — great food at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. I recently ordered a family platter for $72.31, and the quality was seriously disappointing. I specifically asked for two chicken legs, but when I got home, one leg tasted off — the flavor was strange, and the color was completely different from the other. It was enough to make me concerned about food safety. For that price, you'd expect consistency and quality. Sadly, Heeva seems to have gone downhill. If you care about your health and your money, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

I have been shopping at Heeva Fine Foods many times, but unfortunately, I’ve had a very disappointing experience with their products and customer service. I recently purchased Kaleh cream from the store, and unfortunately, the product was expired. What concerns me even more is that the staff have direct access to these products, so checking expiration dates should be a basic responsibility before putting them on the shelves or selling them to customers. Food safety should always be a priority. Customers should be able to trust that the products they purchase are fresh and within their expiration dates. Considering the high prices at this store, I expect much better customer service and, most importantly, greater attention to customer safety. Bottom line: If a store doesn’t take customer service and food safety seriously, why should customers continue to support it?

Heeva Fine Foods is a true gem! They have the best flame-grilled lamb chops — incredibly delicious, perfectly cooked, and very reasonably priced. The food quality is exceptional, and the service is truly extraordinary. You can tell they genuinely care about what they serve and about their customers. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back! ❤️
