We’re from Montreal, and this is our third time coming to Darband. Every time we visit Toronto, we try different restaurants, but we always come to the same conclusion: nowhere compares to Darband! The food here is truly top quality. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Definitely one of the best Persian restaurants we’ve ever tried

I had a wonderful experience at Daban Restaurant and I’m very happy to give them a well-deserved five-star review. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and authentic. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly, and you can really feel the Persian hospitality. The food was absolutely delicious. Their Kebab Koobideh (Kufta) was cooked perfectly—very juicy, flavorful, and served fresh and hot. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and prepare everything with care. Another dish that truly stood out was the Dizi, which was incredibly authentic and full of rich traditional flavor. It reminded me of the classic homemade Persian taste that many people love and miss. The menu also offers many other great Persian dishes, making it a perfect place for anyone who enjoys traditional Iranian cuisine. Everything we ordered was fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared.

We ordered takeout today, and the young man who served us was incredibly kind, polite, and helpful! We mentioned that we were in a rush because we had a flight to catch, and he kindly made sure our food was ready earlier than expected. Visited this Persian restaurant recently. I opted for a plate with chicken breast, koobideh, and Barg kababs. The chicken breast and koobideh kababs were delicious, but the Barg was a bit on the dry side. One noteworthy feature is the option to choose bread or salad instead of the default rice that comes with the plates. I went for bread and baghali polo; the bread portion was a tad small, but the baghali polo was quite good. Overall, it's a decent place, and I'd appreciate it if they could consider offering larger servings of rice or bread in the future Update: I recently visited this store again. Extremely disappointing experience. I came to this store to place a simple order and the cashier was rude and unprofessional from the start. They acted annoyed when I asked a few basic questions about the menu and made me feel like I was bothering them. After taking my order, they made seve

We ordered a kalleh pacheh from this restaurant through Uber Eats. When we opened the package, the first thing we noticed was a really bad smell. All the meat parts were dark and tasted bitter. The brain was black, and the eyes were tough and dark as well.nothing was edible. I paid $28 for this order and ended up throwing the whole thing in the garbage. It was honestly very disappointing, and it made me feel like sometimes paying more really does mean getting better quality. This was my first and definitely my last time ordering from this restaurant, and I wouldn’t recommend trying it

with a wide variety of food and generous portions. Today, we ordered Koobideh, but unfortunately the quality was not up to expectations. It had a strong onion smell and an unpleasant taste. I hope they review their preparation methods and improve their quality.

They have been around for more than 20 years. They started by serving everything and did not lose the market in a second. Right now, So far eerything is premaked and frozen and microwaved food, and probably most come from 3rd party. My recent orders were melted in their microwave and send it out. Check my attached photo. If you want to be healthy cook at home and never ever come around this place. For sure 311 should go there and take a look at that place.

I ordered food from this restaurant for my birthday, and the kebab koobideh was completely raw, still red in the middle. It was absolutely awful and so disrespectful. You ruined my birthday night, and I will never order from you again. I also warn others not to go there, because the quality is no longer what it used to be—maybe the owner or the chef changed, but it was the worst restaurant experience that could have ruined my birthday.
