Went in because I left my gas cap open after I filled up at the gas station ad drove with it off. The next day I get an engine light. I go to a mechanic who wanted to scan the code from his scanner an warned me he will charge me 20$. I said ok whatever, I figured that's the first last time this charge would happen to me. He tells me I can take a picture of this and show this code to a mechanic who is willing to fix it and he supposedly reset the code. Then foolishly, I go to Achachi Auto whom the manager is named I believe Mike. I showed him the picture of it and I just wanted his opinion on what he can do. I told him specifically not to charge me for any diagnostic and to my avail he scans my car in order to charge me for a service I did not need. He told me a lie that the previous mechanic did not clear the code. He ends up charging me 50$ for the diagnostic scan I did not need and fo

Mike is one most professional mechanic guys I ever seen in my entire life. He quickly diagnoses the problem with the car , explain everything clearly and give a very fair price with no hidden charge. I’ve been coming here for years. I was referred by a close friend of mine. Have never gone anywhere since. Mike and staff are wonderful people. I’ve saved thousands of dollars by bringing all my cars here. I used to go to Toyota years ago. They told me I had to fix the exhaust system for $3500. I was suspicious so I brought my car into Mike. He inspected my car and told me the exhaust was fine and that it was my timing belt. Mike is an honest gentleman. I can come to him with all my car issues and know that I will get honest advice and reliable service. I highly recommend. Best mechanic shop in Markham!

Had a few warning lights come up on my dashboard last week, so I went to see Mike, who I’ve been trusting with my car for the past five years. He checked everything over, cleared the codes after making sure it was safe to do so, and even fixed my brake lights. He was quick, professional, and provided great service. I offered to pay him for his time, but he kindly refused. Always appreciate the honesty and helpfulness. Highly recommend Mike!

By far the best experience I've ever had with a mechanic. He doesn't overcharge, he doesn't create problems where there are none, in fact he'll even demonstrate what the issue is and what he's doing to fix it. I've been to many mechanics and I can honestly say I trust Mike and he's an actual good person that does good work for people without tacking on things that the customer won't know how to verify so he can make money. Will happily refer anyone I know to Mike because I know that if they go see him they won't need to go see someone else. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Do not use this shop. One of the mechanics (possibly the owner) double parked my car. I asked him politely to move it as i had my kids with me and another appointment, he basically told me to wait. I reiterated i had kids and he kinda just refused. He was filling air in a tire - finished one tire and still told me to wait. He finally moved it after i raised my voice. This guy is a piece of work. My assumption is this bad attitude carries over into all of his work. I wouldnt support someone like this for anything. There are tons of great mechanics who are nice even in the same plaza. Dont give this guy your business.

Went for a winter tire to change. This is twice happened, forgot to put the rim cover. when I went to pickup, didn’t even apologize, rather told that people do make mistakes and not to come if I am not satisfied. I was going to this shop since he owned and helping the business grow. This is how I got treated at last. Very well Mike. Good luck with your business and goodbye. You never going see me and will not recommend your shop to anyone.

I went here to get my car inspected. The guy told me that my Clutch is done. I told him: "I just replaced it! What are u talking about?!?" Looks like they have Blind mechanics and Inspectors here. I didn't tell him initially that I was also a mechanic. He said, "Oh, I'll take it off then (the worn out clutch finding)". And when I told him I was also a mechanic and asked him how he came up with worn out clutch, all he said was "Oh, it felt weird that's why i thought it was worn out". And he was asking me for $1000+ for some non-sense things before he can sign. No way Dude! I got my car back in d road with Full coverage without any $$$ spent.

I had been going to this place a few times for the $25 oil change. A few days ago I went in for the usual change, and also asked them to do one of their free brake diagnostics. They told me after that my front brakes were completely gone and rusted to the point of "no return" saying I had to replace them. I thought that was questionable because I had a seasonal done 2 months prior and my usual mechanic said I had 9mm left back in April. Took it back to get checked by the people I actually trust and turns out I still had 4-5mm left on my break pads. Achachy Transmission looks for work and lies to their customers. Avoid this place at all costs. Who knows what else they are lying to you about? Shady business people who should lose their practicing licenses.

Our family has been going to Mike's for years. We always go for our regular auto maintenance, tires, and other things. Really appreciate this place. Great, honest business and advice. Prices are great. Mike is also very nice, great guy. I don't write reviews unless something is genuinely exceptional and consistent. Full support for this place; definitely give them a visit.

He steals people's money and charges them for services they do not ask for.
