I am sorry I have to use my family's account to write this review as I don't feel safe using my name... I had the worst experience ever with Barry Cohen, he is arrogant, very hard to get hold of, however, he is very kind until the moment you sign the contract with him, he will just assign one of his team members to deal with you and disappear. He will try his best to convince you on an extremely low listing price by saying how bad the market is, I will NOT recommend anyone to hire him or his team. The good reviews seem fake to me.

I listed my home (Lawrence Park) in the fall with a different agent, but with four kids and pets, found the showings too cumbersome around Thanksgiving and took it off the market to potentially relist in the spring. Came home one afternoon to one of Barry's agents waiting in my driveway to tell me they had a buyer and would I be willing to let them show the property. I agreed and the morning of the supposed showing (after I've cleaned, vacated kids, pets, etc) the agent calls to ask if I will be listing with the same agent in the spring as I previously had. I said I would be, since they had time and expenses into. The Cohen agent then goes on to tell me that their team policy is to only show their buyers to listings that they have. I'm sure this "buyer" never existed, but if this is their policy, they are doing all of their buyers a massive disservice by refusing to show them only home

Terrible service. The main principal is arrogant and expensive with little knowledge of most area except the small pockets of high end homes. Always tries to sell your property under value in the shortest time. Charges more than others and provides less customer service. I think it is losing its image, credibility and clients everyday. Time to retire for the principal and let others take over the business.

Knowledgeable but could not be more dissatisfied with the level of service. His monopoly is a disservice to the client community. Would not recommend.

He sold our condo quickly, efficiently and for the price we wanted.
