Yazdi Pastry

We live close by and get pastries from Yazdi most of the time. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoy supporting their business. All of the pastries are high quality and fresh. This time we forgot to take a picture at first, but they were so good that we highly recommend this place!

I was really disappointed with my experience at Yazdi Pastry. In my opinion, the prices are already extremely high compared with other bakeries, and what made the experience even more frustrating was being asked to leave a tip on top of those prices. This is a bakery where I simply purchased a box of pastries—I wasn’t receiving table service or being served a meal. I personally don’t feel that tipping should be expected in this situation, especially when the prices are already so expensive.

💚 A Sweet Birthday Surprise from Yazdi Bakery 💚 Early this morning, a very dear friend of mine surprised me with the most delicious pistachio birthday cake from Yazdi Bakery. It was incredibly soft, flavorful, and absolutely perfect ,the kind of cake that instantly lifts your spirits. I’ve loved Yazdi Bakery for years. Even back when I lived in King City, I used to come here, and it makes me happy to see how many fans they have in the neighborhood. Their quality has always been consistent, and their flavors are truly something special. This cake meant so much to me not just because it tasted amazing, but because my friend chose a place she knew I adored. It was the sweetest birthday surprise and exactly what I needed. I’m so grateful for this thoughtful gesture and so grateful that Yazdi Bakery continues to make desserts that bring people so much joy. 💛✨

They offer a tempting range of fresh sweets and beautifully made cakes — light, flavorful, and perfect for any occasion. The staff were friendly and even offered us a sweet to try, which was a lovely touch. My recommendation is to try their Cake Yazdi — soft, fragrant, and absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you’re after something sweet and freshly baked.

A sweet surprise! I’ve made it a habit to drop into bakeries with my work. This time I was lucky to have my girlfriend with me as we checked out the small almost hidden bakery. The store itself is very small but this makes for a better experience with the staff. They a friendly and quick to offer samples and explanations for the many different treats they have. Everything is done by weight, however you can walk out with a nice sized box of excellent tasting cookies for about $25. With the cakes looking like they did… we will be back for sure.

Ordered an engagement party cake that was supposed to be blush pink with blush pink flowers. Got bright pink with bright pink flowers … like for a kids birthday… Asked me for the money before delivery knowing they messed up. Moreover, the SL logo that was supposed to be made of metal… they couldn’t find… SO THEY JUST DREW IT ON! Looked like a kids drawing. So embarrassing, had to take out all their florals and cover the cake in floor wrap and decor florals to have something day of. Called the owner just to have them pass me back and forth and hang up the phone on me. Never again

The pastry is expensive and the person who helped us was very rude. Not going back there agian. There are much better stores with better selection and prices in york region.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this bakery. One of the staff members, who was wearing a blue uniform, had a very dirty outfit, which did not look professional at all. On top of that, their attitude was not friendly. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.👎👎👎👎

Worse pastry ever. I have ordered my daughter birthday’s cake. The cake was different with what I order. Moreover, the cake was frozen. When I informed the owner, she was not happy with my comment and she said you took the birthday’s pictures and now you are here. The owner is so rude and she doesn’t know how to use proper language.
