Roses Kebab Land

We first visited Roses Kebab Land about 2–3 years ago, and at that time we were really impressed. We tried the Barg, Koobideh, and Joojeh kebabs, and everything was excellent. This time, we decided to order takeout, but unfortunately, the experience was quite different. The Joojeh was okay, but very average and nothing memorable. My husband also tried the Barg again on another occasion, and sadly, the quality was nowhere near what we remembered from our previous visits. I’m not sure what has changed over the years, but as returning customers, the drop in quality was very noticeable to us. It’s disappointing because we had such a great impression of this place before. I really hope they can bring back the quality they used to have.

Mother’s Day dinner at Roses Kebab Land Restaurant turned into one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we’ve had in a long time. As customers were being seated, every Iranian woman received a rose for Mother’s Day. Meanwhile, the two mothers at our table — along with our 3-year-old daughter — were completely ignored. Right from the start, we felt like second-class citizens because we were not Iranian. When I ordered the platter meant for 4–5 people for our table of 7 (including 2 young children), our server Aynaz repeatedly and condescendingly told me it was only for 3–5 people. I had to explain THREE times that two of my older children had already eaten earlier and only came to spend time with their mother. Only then did she reluctantly write the order down. I recently visited this Persian restaurant with my family and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The kebabs were outstanding—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was fresh and delicious, and you can really tell they care about the quality of their food. Overall, it was a great dining experience with excellent service and authentic Persian flavors. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great Persian cuisine.

Terrible service with average quality. Great food with a wide variety of delicious kebab options. I ordered takeout, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The service was excellent, and the overall experience was great. I would definitely order from here again and highly recommend it!

We ordered platter 3 and enjoyed too much.

Everything was great, the food was great, the only thing I didn't like was the music selection and its volume... The music was so loud that I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the food, the music quality was very low. The servers were very polite and courteous. Wishing you continued success.

Today 19 September I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience and the level of customer service I received. I ordered two koobideh sandwiches — one regular with all the toppings and one plain. I explained the order several times over the phone, but there was a serious communication problem and it was extremely difficult to get such a simple order understood correctly. I was told that my order would be ready in approximately 15 minutes. Instead, I ended up waiting around 35 minutes. After such a long wait, the order was still incorrect — both sandwiches were prepared plain. The service was extremely slow, and the staff member taking my order was rude and unprofessional. Communication in English was very difficult, which made placing and confirming a simple order unnecessarily frustrating. I am very very disappointment in the food here. It resembles nothing to the kababland’s sit down restaurant. I ordered barg and koobideh for the guest I had over, and I was genuinely embarrassed. The onion in the koobideh was extremely overpowering and gross. As for the kabab barg, it was a piece of flat meat that couldn’t even be separated (if you tried to take a piece, it would be 5-6 pieces at a time), and there was ZERO seasoning on it (we added some salt and pepper on it our selves- refer to photo). Lastly, our doogh was completely watered down - I have ordered doogh from here in the past and I didn’t have this kind of experience with it, which also shows inconsistency.. I will never ever be ordering from here.

This place has really gone downhill. They don’t seem to care about their customers anymore, and the quality of the food has dropped significantly. The prices have gone up a lot, but the food is definitely not worth it anymore. It’s nothing like it used to be — the taste, the presentation, everything feels lower quality. Even the vibe isn’t the same. It used to be a place I enjoyed coming to, but now it’s disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it anymore.

Friendly staff, fine food in Richmond Hill, really worth trying. If you haven’t tried Persian fine cuisine and wondering where to find the best one this is the place. Every single penny was worth it . If you ask for Ashkan , he will help you all the way for the best experience

"An absolutely stellar experience! The chicken kabobs was perfectly cooked the flavors were beautifully balanced and it had a tender juicy texture. The staff was incredibly welcoming and the cozy atmosphere made my evening, I would definitely eat here again. thank u guys 🙂

One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time! The food was outstanding, with generous portions and incredible flavor. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The restaurant was clean, beautifully decorated, and had a great atmosphere. Everything from start to finish was excellent. We can’t wait to come back and will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends!
