2 weeks agoWe had a fantastic experience with Amir from Reliance! We had a leak coming from the P-Trap under our laundry sink in the utility room, and Amir repiped it efficiently - it's completely leak-free and working great now. While he was here, he also checked a faucet in our basement washroom that had very low water pressure, replaced the aerator, and fixed the pressure issue immediately. Amir was professional, polite, and extremely skilled. Thank you, Amir, for the excellent work! I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend him.

2 months agoThe Reliance technician Gino was excellent. They were thorough in diagnosing the problem and resolved it quickly, restoring our hot water with minimal delay. They were also very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what had happened and provide helpful tips for maintaining the water heater going forward. I'm extremely satisfied with the service and would highly recommend them.

a month agoSteven came to my home to resolve my Tankless Hot Water Heater issues and ended up replacing it. He informed us about the age of the heater and the best solution was to replace it. Steven was very knowledgeable and took great care in our home. Steven completed all of the work in a couple of hours and left our home as clean and tidy as when he arrived. Thanks for a job well done.

4 months agoWe were extremely impressed with this company. When our boiler needed to be replaced, Charlie, our senior advisor, explained our options and answered all our questions. On the day of the installation he arrived early to ensure the service team was clear about our needs. The young men who did the installation were very efficient. When a problem arose with a leaking pipe, Charlie arranged a plumber for us. Ali came the same afternoon and when he realized the fix would take longer than expected, he didn’t hesitate to stay long past his quitting time to make sure the job was done. We were so grateful for his kindness. We highly recommend Reliance!

4 hours agoThe field technicians are great, but Reliance’s administrative and billing departments are an absolute nightmare. I am updating my previous positive review of the technicians because the back-end customer service is too predatory to ignore. This is now the second time Reliance has added a new service and secretly created an entirely separate account for it without my knowledge or consent. Because I have pre-authorized payments set up on my primary account, I assumed everything was being handled seamlessly. Instead, Reliance provides zero notification of these hidden accounts until a past-due notice arrives in the mail, complete with threats of escalating the balance to collections. There is a total lack of communication between their technicians, service history tracking, and billing departments. The right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. The only reason I am still a cust

3 months agoI am very disappointed with Reliance’s protection plan. I have been paying for this coverage for many years, expecting support when a major issue arose. When my furnace developed a heat exchanger problem, I was told that it was not covered under my protection plan. This was extremely frustrating and did not meet my expectations of the service I had been paying for. As a result of this experience, I have cancelled all of my protection plans with Reliance. I hope the company reviews its coverage policies and provides better value and transparency for long-term customers.

Edited 2 months agoI got whole house protection plan from Reliance and I have been paying the monthly instalments for long. I am now disappointed with your service recently. I got the sink clogged in the basement and when I call to fix it, the person (your representative) told me that he is not going to do it because it may take more than 2 hours to fix it and if it happens, I have to pay $300 plus taxes and he said it is not me, it is reliance who forces us to do so. I was stuck, so I said 'ok' however, he fixed it in 45 minutes. Why we are paying monthly instalments by getting a whole house plan? You guys take advantage of the situation. He came here at 3:45 and left the house already at 5:05. It was hardly he spent 1 hour and I was told that the timing will be more than 2 hours, then I will have to pay. Why even I have to pay if the timing is more than 2 hours, I am paying monthly premium for this s

4 weeks agoMy father has been paying the “protection plan” for years with limited benefit. When he had an issue and was finally able to get ahold of someone, they sent a “tech”, who then sent over an “associate” named Cyrus who misled him into signing a 7 year rental agreement when he believed he was financing a furnace to eventually own. They use misleading, high-pressure sales tactics and have a well documented history of the same. Beware of them. Our elderly family members need to be protected from them. The come

5 months agoI received weeks of the most appalling customer service from Reliance. The hot water tank wasn't working, and for 4 days they told us someone was coming so either my partner or I stayed home from work to let them in, and no one came (window of 8am-2pm). We called back every single day. Finally on day 5, someone showed up and said they didn't fix this kind of tank. The next day, someone else showed up, didn't fix it and told us we should upgrade the tank through a different provider. After a week with no hot water (in freezing temperatures), we decided we needed to find an option elsewhere. The Reliance customer service rep told me over the phone that they had 'no record' of a repair person coming to my house at all, and it was mandatory that a Reliance employee verified it wasn't working (which happened), so my only option to end the rental with them was to buy out the broken water tank

4 months agoAbsolute scam for new homebuyers. I inherited 10-year-old, out-of-warranty equipment (AC, Air Handler, Tankless Water heater) when I bought my house. Any HVAC professional will tell you 10-year-old equipment is fully depreciated and worth little more than scrap value. Yet, Reliance is demanding over $3,500 for a buyout, despite openly admitting they do not have a signed contract with me or the previous homeowner. Even crazier, they claim the original home builder signed an agreement a decade ago, but admit they have no record of that contract either! They claim I am bound to this invisible contract because I paid a couple of initial bills to keep my heat on while I tried to track down the paperwork. When I challenged their arbitrary buyout numbers, they admitted to a "calculation error" but then quoted me the exact same price anyway. I offered them a fair market buyout to settle it, wh
