"I have been going to Mina for about 3 years now. I first met her at the Empress Walk location when she was helping out there, and she cut my hair so well that I followed her down to the Yonge and Eglinton location just to keep seeing her! When I first met Mina, my hair was super short and I told her I wanted to grow it out long. She carefully managed it with slight trims along the way. Last week, we decided it had gotten a bit too long and messy. She gave it a beautiful trim—it is still long, but it looks so neat and healthy now. Thank you so much, Mina! I have had the best experience everytime I go to this salon. Mina is incredible. She has been doing my hair for the past 4 yrs. I was dealing with dry scalp issues and Mina was amazing. Her knowledge and helpfulness really eased my worry. She recommended products that have changed my scalp forever. She made me feel so comfortable and confident. When I go in I show Mina a picture if what I wld like and she nails it everytime.does exactly what I want. She really listens. I will always be a loyal to this salon and Mina. Thank you so much

I’ve been going to Ray Daniel Salon for more than a year now, and Mahnaz has been doing my haircuts the entire time. She is professional, highly skilled, and incredibly attentive to detail. Every time I visit, she listens carefully to what I want and always delivers perfect results. The salon is always clean and well-managed. It was very strong that leaving in conditioner. I didn’t know there was a sent to that Moroccan oil gave me and my partner a massive migraine. I don’t know if there’s any possibility to return it or get a refund.Awful

I’ve gone to Mahnaz several times for hair bleaching, toning, and cuts, and every time she does an amazing job. She’s very professional, careful, and always makes sure my hair stays healthy despite the bleaching. I love how she listens to what I want and delivers exactly the color and style I ask for. This is the worst salon I've ever been in my life. I wish I could rate it 0 star. The staff who washed my hair, a blonde and skinny Eastern European lady, was VERY rude and unprofessional. She didn't even wanted to comb my hair after washing it. I had to ask for her to put some leave in to make combing a bit easier... So she did with no care at all. Then she did a terrible job just combing my hair, it really looked like she didn't want to be working and was putting all her frustration on me. Awful, awful, awful service. I felt extremely disrespected there. I wouldn't go back there, not even if someone paid me for that. STAY AWAY!!

It was the most horrible experience I have ever had with a hairdresser. I walked in asked them if they can do gray-purple-blue color on my darkish brown hair, and they said: "For Sure." Then I made an appointment, and I emphasized I do not want any yellow or brownish color in my highlights and they reassured me that wouldn't be the case. Long story short, my fancy Gray- Blue-Purple color turned out to become white (like an old woman's hair), a nasty yellow, and brown and all burnt out!(see the photos). During the highlight process, the hairdresser suggested why don't you let me dye all of your hair in Ash-Brown? I had some gray hair, and I accepted that offer. The process was so long and stressful(about 4 hours), and the hairdresser wasn't sure how to make it work! They even couldn't do a simple dying on my hair, and I still have all my white hairs (as you can see in the picture)! I was

Extremely disappointing. If I could put NO stars I would. I went to have my hair washed and styled, I was quoted a price of $40.00 and with a tip it cost me $71.00 for the worse style I have ever had. I have gone to hairstylists at First Choice Haircutters who did a better job. You would think that if someone has the nerve to charge $62.00 they would know what type of products to use on someone who has naturally curly hair. You would also think they would know how to style that type of hair. I went here for the first time and I will never go back. I believe the woman's name was Nina, she had extremely long nails and I thought she was going to poke me in the eyes when she was drying my hair. The shampoo barely touched my head, I am sure the product I used this morning wasn't even washed out of my hair. Then she spent an hour blowing drying my hair and curling it with a curling iron. I've gotten my hair cut by Niki twice now. And while she does a fantastic job and is very kind, I won't be returning. My first visit, I had relatively long hair, and was charged for a woman's cut, I didn't think much of it because longer hair meant more work. Now, though, I have very short hair, and keep it that way, and when I was charged for a woman's cut today, I paid, but asked what made my short hair cost double a men's cut, when a man with longer hair than I have got a cut right before me, and was charged half my final price. I was told that its because "Men and Women are different." Not only am I not a woman (trans man), its idiotic to charge literally twice the cost for the same hair cut you would give someone you thought was a man, just because you view someone as a woman. Prices should be based on hair length, not what someone's gender is. Its sexist.
