Queen Catering

We tried the vegetarian and chicken noodles from Queens Take Out & Catering and loved it! The food was fresh, perfectly spiced (vegetable was bit spicy but manageable), and full of flavour. The service was excellent, it felt like the order was customized just for us. The owner even gave us a bottle of Kaata Sambal to try, which was a lovely touch. Everyone from kids to adults enjoyed it. There were second and third servings. Definitely recommend!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. This is amazing restaurant with excellent quality food. It’s not oily or greasy. The kothu roti is perfect every time. Usually a restaurant only has good food when they first open but we’ve been here multiple times and the quality has remained the same each time. They make everything fresh on the spot when you order and you can expect to taste good. They even make modifications for kids. We recently ordered catering for a party. Even though we live 40 mins away. We knew we could count on the quality. The owner went above and beyond to help us plan the food for our event. This is why I would give this restaurant more than 5 stars . The customer service matches the quality of the food. This will be our go to spot for Tamil food going forward . The food quality and portions were excellent. We especially loved the fish curry—it was absolutely delicious. The puttu, eggplant ,sambol, and fish combination was amazing. The kids really enjoyed the pasta as well. The owner is very friendly, polite, and goes the extra mile to ensure customers are satisfied. All of our guests loved the food, and everyone had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this place!

I usually buy Queens Hopper very nice but I buy today. I am disappointed. Copper was dry and taste like a weird. I don’t know why they should make sure follow same standard otherwise paying money is not worth for that. I hope they will improve.

The Dolphin koththu (not dolphin meat, it’s mutton) was exceptionally creamy, spicy and a lot of extra gravy made this meal one of my favourite meals in all my time travelling

Misleading and overpriced for small items. $8.99 gets you a yoghurt cup sized chicken curry, $3.50 gets a scrunched up Single parotta that looks a rag (most Lankan takeouts are $1 for a parotta) and the patties are samosas. They do not sell proper Sri Lankan patties

I came here recently and had a really disappointing experience. They didn’t even have a proper menu, so we had no idea what they actually served. When we asked, the lady just said they had “noodles and rice” without listing any other options. We ordered shrimp and chicken biryani but even that was confusing for her. She asked what size shrimp we wanted without telling us what sizes or prices they had. We chose “small,” but it turned out to be very small. On top of that, the shrimp was cold, not even warm. We asked them to heat it up, and it still took more than 15 minutes for them to bring out our chicken biryani. To make things worse, while we were eating the chicken biryani, we actually found hair in the food. That completely ruined the experience. Overall, the service was slow, the food was cold, and the hygiene was unacceptable. Definitely wouldn’t recommend or come back.

Their food used to be good. Recently, I bought mutton biriyani, and the rice was not even cooked. When I opened the biriyani, it looked like somebody had taken some from the biriyani. Called them to find out, and the response from the guy who talked was really bad. He talked rudely like he gave free food. Raitha was missing. I can ignore that part because the store was super busy, and mistakes could happen.

Just bought food from them. Bought seafood thali, lady said she will give veg curries. All curries are super cold and did not taste good at all. The cooked curries in the front- don’t think they are cooked fresh daily. Saw that they had shrimp fry which looked soo appealing, opened the box at home, it had such a foul smell. The food has gone bad. Ordered a sherbet drink too - the jelly in the bottom hasn’t even been made properly, they are rock hard pieces. I asked for a small portion of banana fries, but the lady charged me for the large amount. Spent nearly $35 on food and drink and most of it is very bad. Customer service is not great either.

1 star. The service was terrible. The woman at the front was extremely rude and couldn’t even finish taking my order before repeatedly stopping to serve other customers. It felt very disrespectful and unprofessional. What concerned me even more was watching food being handled without gloves while wearing long nails. When you’re preparing and packaging food, cleanliness and hygiene should be a priority. I ended up leaving without ordering because I wasn’t comfortable purchasing food from a place that seemed to have so little regard for customer service and food-handling standards. I won’t be returning.

This beautiful family owned restaurant served me the heartiest Srilankan meal I've had in a long time. The flavors were exquisite and the quality was excellent. What was most admirable was their teenage son who stood on business,literally, to help out his parents on his day off! Cuz will be a good business man, he had the best customer skills and gave me a free local drink on the house! Much respect!

The seafood fried rice was flavorful and satisfying. The prawns were juicy, the fish was perfectly fried, and the rice was aromatic with just the right mix of spices. The boiled egg and fresh cilantro added a nice touch of freshness. Overall, a hearty and well-balanced meal — great for seafood lovers!
