Mr Dizi

Updated version: We've already become regulars at this place, and all the pictures are from different visits :) Top items on the menu so far: Traditional Dizi and Salari Kabab. This Persian restaurant is awesome! I loved everything about it; the decorations were really nice, and the touches of Persian culture were super cute. The service was quick and really good. The sides went perfectly with what we ordered. The dining area was chill and cozy. But honestly, the food stole the show; it was such a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back! 👍🏼

We tried Limoo Amani Dizi and zereshk polo. They both tasted great. I like the way they serve the Dizi. The service was fast and professional. Will definitely go back.

It’s been a while since my family and I had been planning to try this restaurant because the reviews were so positive. Unfortunately, our takeout experience was far from satisfactory. The lime came with a large hair on it, and the koobideh was noticeably red and felt undercooked inside. When we order from a restaurant, we expect basic care and attention to food preparation. Koobideh should be properly prepared and allowed to rest before cooking to ensure the texture is right and it doesn’t feel raw. We also ordered Dizi, which was okay, but overall, the experience was very disappointing. 2 stars for the overall experience, although honestly, it deserved no stars based on the quality and food-safety concerns.

Everything was amazing and delicious. Thank you to Kiana for the great service and kind attitude. This place really gives you the feeling of being in Iran ❤️🌼such a good vibe. Definitely recommend trying it!

The food was absolutely delicious and very high quality, with a real homemade Persian taste. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, making you feel comfortable right away. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and respectful. I would definitely recommend this place!

Went in here asking to try their special being at 10$ and then get charged $18 for breakfast being on special posted outside you can’t just post a special and expect people pay you double that. That’s insane.

We honestly had no plan in coming to Mr.Dizi. We were in the area for something else… but there was this AROMA taking over the entire plaza. We weren’t sure where it was coming from, but as soon as we walked in — I was sure it was here. We got their standard Koobideh Kabob with rice. Presentation of food 10/10. They served VERY quickly. Food was hot, and just absolutely delicious. I will always come out of my way to grab food here, when I’m in the area again. Lovely staff, very warm and hospitable. THANK YOU Mr. Dizi.

I've been to Mr. Dizi 4 or 5 times before, and it's always been great. It's actually one of the places I bring my non-Persian friends because I've always had a good experience. Unfortunately, today's visit was a huge disappointment. I ordered the koobideh with bread, and honestly, it was one of the worst koobidehs I've ever had. It tasted like it had been cooked days earlier and simply reheated. We ordered four different dishes, and they all had the same issue, they lacked freshness, were bland, and didn't taste like they were freshly prepared. I've recommended this restaurant to many people over the years, but after today's experience, I'm not sure I can continue doing so. I hope this was just an off day and that they can get back to the quality they used to have.

I ordered well-done kebabs, but they were undercooked when served. The staff took them back to cook further, but when returned, the outside was burnt while the inside remained red. Meanwhile, my rice had gone cold. Additionally, the washroom door handle was broken, which was inconvenient

​🥩🪰 One night, I saw a box of meat left on a dusty floor to thaw overnight. I have a photo if anyone needs proof. ​🥡 On the surface the food is served on beautiful porcelain plates, but all stew-based dishes, including the lamb shank for mahicheh polo and the chicken for zereshk polo, are reheated in plastic containers in the microwave before serving. The worst part is that they wash and reuse these single-use plastic containers multiple times. The dizi is reheated on the stove, before serving. ​🛑 They are not respectable at all. Dishonest, evasive, and convinced that the world revolves around them. ​💸 The food is not bad, but it is overpriced for the quality and service.

We placed an order 2 times and they could not deliver it. After 90 min we got our food with out any juice and it was open and the food was half. Never ever order from this place. I called them to let them know the lady picked the phone up and without listing to my words she started loudly talked to me that this not our fault it was a dasher’s fault. They did not packed properly. It was awful experience with this restaurant.

ordered Ghormeh Sabzi through Uber Eats for lunch and was very disappointed. The dish was cold, watery, and only had three small pieces of lamb. The overall quality was very poor. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again.
