I honestly don’t understand how this salon has a 5-star rating. I had an incredibly disappointing experience. There is a huge difference between the bangs I asked for and what I actually got. They were cut way too short, uneven, and nothing like the reference I showed. What makes it even more frustrating is that bangs should not be cut extremely short all at once. A professional hairstylist should start a little longer, check how they look, and then gradually shorten them if needed. Once they are cut too short, there is obviously no way to fix it. I didn’t say much while I was there because I was honestly shocked and needed time to process what had happened. But after seeing my hair properly afterward, I became extremely upset. My hair is ruined for now, and all I can do is wait for it to grow back. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst salon experiences I’ve had. I expected basic

I had a great first experience with Matin. I came in with questionable hair and I left with a beautiful colour. She has an eye for beauty, would recommend her to anyone who is nervous about colouring their hair. Matin has exceptional service and also knows how to make you feel comfortable. 10/10! The worst place in GTA!! A dark salon without proper lighting. If you want to damage your hair or if you desire to have the worst hair color, this is the place to go!!!!!! This is my hair after the first wash , I called and said that the color of my hair has completely changed and is bad, but Matin said, put another toner and gloss on your hair , that’s it!!!!!

I chose this salon without knowing much about it, just based on a recommendation. It turned out to be one of the best decisions! I'll definitely be coming back every time I want to get my hair cut or colored. They took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and achieved the perfect result with so much patience and care. This was truly one of the best haircut and hair color experiences I've ever had. Their customer service was outstanding. Highly recommended!
