Avoid this place! Had a very unpleasant interaction. Was treated more like a criminal even after providing all the necessary documentation to confirm the funds. Took me only a few minutes to do the same transaction down the street. P.S. Don’t bother to reply to my negative review nothing you can say can undo the unpleasant feeling I had after visiting your establishment.

Don’t trust this business. Unprofessional service and not a reliable partner. If you want to stay in business, keep your word. Good thing there are lots of alternatives nearby. Better to go to Yonge and Clark for any currency exchange.

Untrustworthy partnership with Galaxy Trust Exchange. I want to warn others that Lumiere Currency Exchange and Galaxy trust Exchange appears to be connected so Galaxy is the company that received my €7,000 university refund through Wise and has refused to return the money. Despite multiple follow-ups and formal complaints to FINTRAC and Wise, Galaxy has provided no response or refund. Since galaxy works with Lumier, I strongly urge everyone to avoid any financial transfers or partnerships involving these companies until they are investigated and held accountable. Transparency and trust are critical when dealing with currency exchange — and this experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing.

It's been a while I was your client, recently, I had several bad experiences with you. Since you are busy and known in the community, you never care about your client with a nice behavior. Recently, you acted like your clients are bothering you. One time I told you why you seem angry, you said because I'm busy. On the other hand your price is higher than others these days, and when I told you, you answered with a frown "this is our price". whereas before, you always matched the price. I see these kind of rude behavior 3 times, and I never come back to you. I told this to my other friends that I encouraged them before to use your service. Unfortunately, some businesses like you, after they think they are successful and known, they changed their behavior and reduce their service quality. I gave you 5 stars, 3 years ago, but now I changed it.

Called in to ask for their Peso exchange rate but they wouldn't tell us the rate over the phone, instead they told us to come in and they will tell us then. However, when we arrived that was also not the case, because they said they don't have any Pesos. Time wasted.
