We came to Efendi Restaurant for lunch on a Saturday and it was surprisingly not very busy, which made the experience even more relaxing. We ordered two of their signature Turkish dishes, the beef doner and Adana kebab, along with lentil soup to start. They also brought complimentary appetizers and their fresh house-made bread, which was honestly one of the highlights of the meal. The bread tasted incredibly fresh, soft inside with a nice texture outside, and you can really tell it is made in-house. The lentil soup was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The food overall was simply amazing. The beef doner was tender, juicy, and packed with authentic seasoning, while the Adana kebab had the perfect balance of spice and smokiness. I had an amazing dining experience at Efendi Turkish Restaurant. I ordered the mixed beef and ground lamb, and it was cooked perfectly with authentic Turkish flavors. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. To finish the meal, I enjoyed traditional Turkish tea and a delicious baklava, which was the perfect ending. The service was warm and welcoming, making the experience even better. I'm definitely coming back with my family. If you're looking for authentic Turkish cuisine, I highly recommend this place!

I developed a deep love for Turkish cuisine while eating my way through Qatar, where the standard for Middle Eastern food is exceptionally high, but this place easily topped it. The food was phenomenal. The mixed grill platter for 2 was packed with flavor, featuring perfectly spiced, juicy Adana kebabs, tender chicken, and mouthwatering lamb chops sizzling in seasoned butter straight off the skillet. Everything from the freshly baked bread and dips to the comforting cup of traditional Turkish tea at the end was spot on. I was in a food coma!!!! What made the visit truly special, though, was the staff. The servers were so good to us, attentive, warm, and welcoming from the moment we sat down. They felt like family to us. Outstanding food paired with top tier service. We’ll definitely be back!

The food was delicious, and the meat was perfectly tender. cooked just right. The portions overall were decent, though the rice was a bit lacking in quantity and could have used a little more cooking time. The mixed appetizer was excellent, and the staff who were consistently friendly and polite frequently offered to bring more fresh bread.

Was introduced a while back and this is my 4th time. Absolutely loved our experience at Efendi Restaurant. The dips with the fresh warm bread were the perfect way to start the meal fresh, flavorful, and incredibly authentic. The Adana Kebab was cooked perfectly with great seasoning and a nice smoky flavor that paired so well with the rice and sides. The highlight to finish was definitely the kunefe. Crispy on the outside, soft and cheesy inside, with the perfect sweetness. One of the best Turkish desserts I’ve had in the GTA. Great atmosphere, generous portions, and amazing service. Will definitely be coming back again

Best knafeh I’ve ever had! We usually order kebab and dips as well that always comes out tasty and fresh. Comfortable seating and spacious patio.

Had a lovely evening here at Efendi! Our server was very kind, helping explain the menu, as well as informing us of any allergens that we had. Me and my brother have severe nut allergies so they made sure none of the food with walnuts touched the rest. The food was fantastic. We got a Mix Kebab platter for 4, and a Mixed Pida. Food was FRESH and I mean sizzling on the cast iron, and the meat was cooked to perfection. We even had leftovers to take home afterwards too. Definitely will be coming back with friends sometime! (Also if our server ever reads this, I do apologise for my dad's attitude. I think you did lovely and I'm sure his card didn't go through and gave you issues. Wonderful service to you.)

The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic Turkish flavours, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every dish. The service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. It’s not often you find a restaurant that delivers on food, service, and atmosphere all at once, but Efendi definitely does! If you’re looking for incredible Turkish food and a great dining experience, I highly recommend Efendi. We will absolutely be back!

I have been a frequent customer of this establishment and mistakenly ordered from this branch instead of the one on bayview. I have asked if they could change the drinks with turkish drink as there is no choice for me to change it on my end using uber eats. They have sent me fanta which i absolutely hate. Just gave them a call heres what they told me: “we cannot change it with uludag gazoz or ayran as coke is 2 dollars and uludag is 5 dollars” hope your establishment is worthy of such a decision making by your employees and employers too! May your creator also see this unfathomable disrespect towards someone who genuinely loved what you stand for!

DO NOT COME HERE. Absolutely terrible experience. I walked in just to look at the menu and, after no one assisted me, I politely took one myself. A woman immediately came over with a ridiculous attitude asking, “Who let you take the menus?” I stayed calm and tried to de-escalate. We were seated, but then our table was completely ignored. Nobody came to take our order, so we eventually got fed up and left. As I was getting into my car, the same woman ran outside to ask why we left and confronted me about recording, saying I needed permission. I’m a blogger and was simply documenting my experience. The disrespect and treatment we received was completely unacceptable. I came in as a paying customer and was treated like an inconvenience. If this is how you treat customers, don’t expect them to come back.

Extremely disappointing experience. The breakfast quality was terrible and nowhere near worth the price. They charge $34.90 per person for breakfast, yet you’re forced to order a fixed platter with no choices or flexibility. The portions were disappointing, the quality was poor, and the overall experience was far below expectations. For that price, this is simply unacceptable. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else.

We came in for a reservation on the patio. Our table was given to someone else without a reservation and were made to wait 40 mins and each time we were told an extra 10 minutes. The staff was not helpful and rude. We ended up leaving to a much better turksih restaurant 10 minutes away.

I was very disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. The level of service was truly poor, and the staff's behavior toward customers did not meet any professional or ethical standards. It felt as though our presence there was an inconvenience to them. Furthermore, the quality of the food was subpar; both the taste and presentation were significantly below expectations. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Hidden gem! From the outside this place looks unassuming, but the food is outstanding — the kebabs were juicy, flavorful, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. What really stood out was the hospitality. It was our first visit and they surprised us with complimentary appetizers, desserts, and Turkish tea. Such a warm and generous touch. Highly recommended — great food, great people. We'll definitely be back!
