If I could rate no stars I would, but I gave one to write this review. After suffering a brain injury as a result of a cement dump truck making a left turn, I spent a week in a hospital specializing in brain injury patients. While I was incoherent in the hospital, this firm was retained on my behalf and assured me there was enough to go to court. Before pretrial, they chose to withdraw from the record not citing to me or any other law firm the reason why. The case was never heard as if the event never happened, but it did and my family and I still deal with the consequences of a non injury settlement. Apart from the 5k offered by the defendants law firm, that this firm ingested for expenses incurred. If your family member has a brain injury, do not use this firm.

Marina Dinaburgsky from grillo law firm is absolutely useless as well as Michael. Gives people going through hard times attitude while hanging up on them and not helping anything. This law firm wasted 2 years of my life with 0 results, not only that. But motor vehicle claims have a 2 year deadline. This ridiculous law firm sent me a letter 2 months before my deadline stating they wont be helping me making it almost impossible to retain a different lawyer. Would take it all back and use somebody else if I had the chance ao I hope this review helps.

Made no contact with me, missed multiple letters from insurance companies, dropped me as a client because I was "non responsive". Was assured at the beginning that they will take care of everything and will only contact me if I am required for something. I guess they only needed to contact me to let me know I didn't chase after them enough. Now, almost a year after the accident, I have to find new RELIABLE legal counsel. DO NOT waste your time here EDIT ON RESPONSE: this is false, as I check my email every single day. I had to forward you docs from the insurance company that I was told would be handled by you, and I have emails stating "our apologies for missing this.". So please, reorganize yourselves and don't call me a liar and bring my mother into this, knowing you are false. My whole family had the exact same experience as me, and I am now screwed with a busted leg and can't do any

I received 40 K, 4 years after my accident. My tort lawyer Chris Karpacz said that this is the best he can do. I had a head injury and neck/back injuries and my whole life is affected possibly forever. I can possibly never work full time again in my life. I’m struggling to manage basic living tasks. And I used to be a shining star in university I graduated from a top university with honours. I requested him to use my university records but he didn’t. I requested him to use my most current psychotherapy notes but he didn’t. I will not be recommending this firm to anyone as I have to figure out how I’m supposed to survive when I can barely work 1 hour a day. I’m 29 years old and the amount of working years I had ahead of me were worth a lot more than 40,000.

Where do I start? I wouldn't even give this law firm a star. These people left me high and dry in a case thats duration took 5 years only to have A "lawyer named Mousa drop my case. Keep in mind this lawyer has never called me and followed up with my injuries and how life has been. Never once called and kept me up to date with the case. Just email me saying, the case is" risky" and wouldn't explain anything. And next email was "I'm dropping your case, it's too risky". This law firm is complete garbage. And the sweet part about all of this is no law firm wants to take over the case once I disclose that is was Grillo Law is handled the case . I reached out to at least 35 law firms in Ontario. A Not at fault accident that changed my life physically and socially. I would NEVER and I mean NEVER recommend this law Firm to my worst enemy. Not very great, a few things ... - these people send you for many assessments and the clinic told me its because they make money from this. The assessments are not necessary bu they do them because they get a share of the profits. They have a whole business for referring clients to clinics and making referral fees. - The disbursements are abnormally high and they lie about their disbursements too, i say this because the amount i netted was lower than they said in their authorization and direction. - The clerks never answer their phones and some of them are frankly rude. The lawyers themselves do not reply to emails and vociemails I understand that these lawyers have other files to deal with, but if they cannot handle the workload they should hire more people. - I was asked by a law clerk to leave a positive review for the firm on google, but i will not write a POSITIVE review becau

This guy Mohamed had me stranded and stood me up. He told me to go to eclinic and I booked with Transhelp which is a program for u need to book the day before and no cancellation u need to pay fine. Anyways this guy had me stranded for 4 hours and wasted my whole day he never even answered his phone when I was calling to find out why he canceled last min I called to speak to a manager to deal with this issue and the manager still hasn’t called me and it’s been 3 wks after my accident. Anyways glad they did this so I can tell other not to go with them and I sure in hell won’t go with these unprofessional law clinic and they should be reprimanded for this behavior toward injured people after their car accident
