I run a consulting firm and been working with AZ for almost 2 years now. They handle my 1120-S, payroll for my 4 employees and bookkeeping ,, all inclusive. What I really like is they're available...like actually available, not "we'll get back to you in 5 business days or 5 months" available. Quick replies, even after hours sometimes. Very rare

After signing up with AZ Accounting, things changed completely. They built a system for me where everything is organized month by month, no surprises and no panic in March. Even when I had questions about HST, payroll deductions, or planning for next year, they gave me straight answers and options .. went over everything on a call. Raised our seed round in Q3 and the AZ team basically built our finance function from scratch. Models, monthly reporting, the whole thing. Couldn't have closed without them.

Switched to AZ last year for our shopify business. We're based in Vancouver but sell into the US so the HST + US sales tax stuff was a nightmare before. Not anymore lol. The team just handles it.

Was just rude

I wanted to share my experience here since I work in BDO accounting firm for few years. I had a question back in 4 years ago and there was a lady told me you need to pay $56 dollar plus HST to answer your question and my questions was very basic. However after I e transferee the money they did not have enough knowledge to answer it. I always promised myself that day to not act so unprofessional like this accounting firm with my clients and luckily working in two big public accounting firm never acted like them. I received a call back back in 4 years ago to delete my review and I did but I want to repost it because it was horrible experience I had in my whole experiences

Ever since this team took over the company it’s been nothing but sheer incompetence, lack of knowledge relating to various tax scenarios and just no transparency or confirmation of the taxes being filed.

Highly recommend especially if you run a small company like me!
