Very poor performance. I bought USD 2000 on their website and when I went to pick up the USD they kept me waiting over 20 minutes just to inform me that they were out of USD currency. Just a sorry for my total wasted hour. Bad business worst customer service

Stopped by to inquire about placing a fairly big order and the timeline for such an order. The only staff present was a middle-aged Iranian man who made us wait a solid 30mins while he was "busy" chatting with his friend. When we finally got a chance to talk to him about our order, he was incredibly rude and impatient after a couple questions. We took our business elsewhere and got everything sorted out the same day. Needless to say we won't bother coming back here even for a quote if this is what we can expect from their customer service.

I am writing this review to highlight two very different experiences at Taheri Exchange. I had placed an order and Malhar was my point person. Malhar has been AMAZING and kind from the start till the end. However, because I was out on business, my wife had to handle the pickup, and her experience with a staff member there was completely unacceptable. The review is specifically for a middle-aged Iranian/Farsi-speaking man (I believe his name is Saghi, but I’m not 100% sure—he is the one who walks in and out of the back constantly acting like he owns the place). My wife was told to pick up the package at noon. At 10:20 AM, she called to coordinate her travel, and this guy answered. There were no manners; just "Hello, what do you want?" When she asked if the order would be ready by noon, he responded, "How do you think the money comes? Does it magically appear in the office? We just opene

My fiancee had been a loyal customer of theirs for about 8 years but not anymore. The latest experiences had opened our eyes and now we see why they have so many bad reviews. They don't update their working hours so we got there and it was closed, wasted our time. They don't pick up the phone calls either and when they do, the person speaking over the phone is very rude. And lastly, they do not keep their promises. We told them we wanted to exchange a large sum of money and they said if we brought cash, they would offer us a special rate. However, when we were ready to do the exchange, they told us there is no special rate for cash. Wasted our time and our bank manager's time. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SKETCHY COMPANY.

UPDATE: I'm not able to answer the response below but there's pretty much nothing you can do. You had no issue responding to this review yet my order from December 31st has yet to be processed or accepted (don't worry, I took the loss of the 5 dollar interac cancellation fee and cancelled it today). Won't be back as a customer. Honestly, as far as rates go you probably can't get better. I've used them exclusively for probably 4-5 years now and recommend them to most people I know but this won't be the case going forward. My last two experiences have been extremely poor and I will go back to paying the extra 10-30 dollars with the chain exchange places because the customer service at Taheri is ridiculous. They've changed their hours so that they're only open during regular business hours which would be fine if they ever picked up their phones or returned emails but they do not. Once you

I needed to purchase more international currency for incidentals on my trip. I called, reserved online, and then stopped by on my way out! The conversion is always seamless, the prices are competitive, however better than the competition!! I appreciate all of your assistance for my journey.
