Have been attending Farah's salon for, I'm guessing, more than 10 years. Her daughter, a professional stylist, also cut my hair many years ago as well. Farah is my absolute go to place and I arrange appointments around my vacations as well. While I only ever get a wash and cut, Farah's professional cutting skills, especially the layering, are the absolute best. She did run a hairdressing school as well. Always happy with the cut and always an interesting conversation. Won't be going anywhere else.

I have been a customer of Farah Salon and Spa for over 5 years. Farah is one of the most talented and wonderful hair- stylists I have ever met and I leave her salon happy every time! Thank you for the amazing and professional service as always!

This place used to be amazing, but I guess the reason it was a ghost town is because it's gone downhill. I left in tears, with a haircut from the 90s and a colour that I specifically said I didn't want or find flattering. Farrah doesn't listen and is stubborn and stuck in the past. I spent 6 hours in the salon and will now have to spend hundreds on getting the colour corrected and years growing out the length that took me so long achieve. Couldn't be more upset with my experience.

EDIT: And now the owner has written a "wrong salon" at the bottom of this instead of actually just refunding me my money. By the way, after I posted this original review, the owner reached out to me and asked me to take it down. I told her I would do that if she refunded my money but she refused, so I've left the review up. Can't believe she's coming back 9 years later to a review to make it sound like I'm a liar. I have no vested interest here except that no one else loses hundreds of dollars for a treatment that doesn't work. ORIGINAL POST: This woman was dishonest and basically stole my money (and time). I'd done a keratin straightening treatment before and asked them explicitly if they could do the same - straighten my hair completely using Keratin - a straightening that would last a minimum of 3 or 4 months. My MIL needed to dye her hair and I told her that Farah's salon nearby had decent reviews. The hair dyeing job was alright, but they tricked her into getting a blow dry after without telling her it would cost more. She felt cheated out of her money and I was embarrassed to have recommended it to her.

Wife went there and had a HORRIBLE time. Staff was ok but the owner (who is the hairstylist) was beyond rude. Kept on insisting that my wife gets a haircut even after she mentioned to her no body cuts her hair beside her trusted hairstylist and she is him. Proceeded to tell my mother in law that my wife's hair is ruined and she will give the best haircut (as if). The owner expected a minimum of 15% tip on terrible service and proceeded to say that the site and brochure explicitly mentions a minimum tip. Last time she checked, tips are given for good service which she did not receive. With all the options out there, suggest you look for a different salon as you will not get good service. Wife will NEVER go there again, and you shouldn't either (in my opinion)

My girlfriend went here and Farah absolutely ruined her head. She had a $35 groupon and ended up leaving with it costing her over $100. She was extremely rude and did not match the colours whatsoever. After her being there for several hours she wasn't even finished and just left her with a mismatching colour on her head. She asked fro blond highlights and came out with orange. Also she came home with burns on both sides of her face from careless bleaching. Don't ever go here for quality or price. Just terrible.
