Our company recently purchased another vehicle from New Roads Chrysler after having a great first experience, but this second transaction has been a complete disaster. We bought a certified pre-owned truck for our operations, but the dealership cut corners by replacing only the brake pads instead of properly servicing the full brake system. Just 1,000 km in, the rotors failed, causing severe shaking. This created a massive safety hazard on the road, and we are reporting the issue to the Ministry of Transportation. On top of the safety risk, the delivery process was unacceptable. We waited seven full weeks to receive the vehicle after purchase. Throughout those seven weeks, the owner of our truck was left without a vehicle and completely unable to work, causing major financial losses for our business. Well this is an unfortunate review. I recently bought a certified used truck from them. They decided to not fully change the brake system and went the cheaper option with only replacing the pads. 1000 kms later my rotors failed and started shaking my entire truck. Mto will be notified as this is a major safety violation!

TL;DR - if you buy a used vehicle here, immediately have every little thing checked by your own mechanic. I purchased a used Jeep Gladiator in December 2024 from New Roads CDJR. When I picked it up, everything seemed fine until I got it home a realized the parking brake didn’t work and didn’t hold the vehicle - as it should to pass a safety. My husband called and spoke with Candice, one of the service advisors. She spoke to the shop foreman who was a little rude and stated it was fine. We decided not to bring the truck back to the dealer as we live almost two hours away and we didn’t think it would be properly taken care of given the way it was handled over the phone. Fast forward to last week, July 19th. The truck was due for a brake service, as I had noticed a slight squeal when braking. We get to driver’s rear caliper and notice whoever did the brake work last has put both outer pads

Went in for a cilinder missfire, expecting them to test the coils and spark plugs, ended up spending around $3400. They did the engine diagnostic to see what the problem was, even though i had used an OBD scanner which showed "missfire cilinder 4" and asked them if they could just check the spark plug and coil in cilinder 4. But they insisted that was not the issue, as they heard some clicking noise that was causing the problem. They said the only way to see what the clicking noise was is to open the engine for $690 to see inside, and $690 to close it after, so already just to see the issue i was almost $1400 in the hole. They opened up the engine and found a single lifter was broken and makeing the clicking noise, as a result it had scored the camshaft, so they suggested i change the camshaft and all lifter and to be safe all spark plugs as well. The bill was going to be $3400+ tax.

Do not even pass this dealership and their service department. Very dishonest people, they are scams. Charge you double or triple for their service. I paid for my car $6800 one month ago, they gave the car with engine light on , then not even one month pass the car has problem and they want to charge me again. Called several times to talk to manager but she didn’t talk or call back. I Left my car to be fixed twice but miscommunication and mismanagement between the staff , I had to pick it up without repair. At the end I gave up and never going back again. I have dealt with many dealerships, because we have had always three car at home but none has been worse than these people.
