8 months agoAhvaz Falafel is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re warmly welcomed by Dariush, who genuinely cares about bringing authentic Iranian flavours to every dish. The falafels are incredibly fresh and one of a kind, the samosas are unreal, and even the burgers, hotdogs, and bread are made in such a unique and delicious way. Amazing quality and great prices — I’ll definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

a year agoThis place has quickly become one of my favorite spots to eat, especially when I’m craving falafel. The food has such an authentic taste, and you can really tell it’s made fresh. The falafel is honestly the best I’ve had — super crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and it always hits the spot. It doesn’t matter if I get it in a wrap or a platter, it’s consistently delicious. They also do burgers here, and I was surprised by how good they are. Juicy, well-seasoned, and really satisfying — it’s not easy to find a place that does both burgers and falafel this well, but they manage to pull it off. What really makes this spot stand out, though, is the vibe. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It feels like the kind of place you can sit down, relax, and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. The prices are also very r

6 months agoI had falafel today at Ahvaz Falafel after three years, and it brought back such an amazing taste of authentic Iran’s southern-style falafel. The experience was truly wonderful — the place is calm, very clean, and the self-serve buffet has great variety. Everything felt fresh and well-prepared. It was honestly unforgettable! I’m pretty sure I’ll be treating myself to a falafel sandwich every week now. I’m so happy this spot is on my way to work — it makes it so easy to grab a delicious, simple, and satisfying lunch. Highly recommended!

a year agoEverything was excellent and full of flavor, especially the falafel — it truly reminded me of the best falafel I’ve had in Iran. The bread added an extra layer of nostalgia that made the experience even more special. The pizza samosa was also delicious. The staff were incredibly kind and professional, which made the visit even more enjoyable.

a year agoI recently discovered this falafel place, I believe it’s a new establishment, and their Iranian falafels are absolutely delicious and fresh! They make the falafels right on the spot when you order, and the bread is so fresh as well. They also offer other dishes like samosas and bandari sausage, but the falafel is definitely the highlight. Everything they serve is made with fresh ingredients, and the quality is impressive for the price. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. This is the only place where I love the falafel, and I highly recommend it to everyone!😉

3 weeks agoUnfortunately, the falafel was disappointing. The taste didn’t have that nostalgic, authentic South Iranian falafel flavor at all, and even the ingredients seemed quite different from what I expected from traditional falafel. The portion was also smaller than advertised, with fewer falafel pieces in the box than expected. I didn’t enjoy the sauce either. The salad portion was very small, with barely any tomatoes, and overall the quality and freshness of the salad could have been much better. The only item I really enjoyed was the samosa, which was good.

a year agoVery Disappointing Experience We had a terrible experience at Ahvaz Falafel in Richmond. The service was extremely poor—they completely forgot our order, and after waiting 45 minutes, we were finally served food that was far from worth the wait. The falafel was of very poor quality, the samosa was nothing more than potato wrapped in bread, and the tongue sandwich was awful, tasting mostly like cinnamon. Definitely do not recommend this place.

a month agoTonight, at around 10:10 PM, we came to this restaurant with our family, including a young child. Before heading there, we specifically checked Google Maps, which showed that the restaurant was open until 10:30 PM. When we arrived, the door was open and the lights were still on, but a young employee told us they were closed. When we politely mentioned that Google showed the restaurant was open until 10:30 PM, his response and tone were quite rude: “Where does it say that? Can you show me?” I showed him Google Maps, and his response was basically, “I don’t know, but we’re closed.” We didn’t argue. We simply said okay, goodbye, and started walking out. Ironically, as we were leaving, he suddenly said, “Now tell me what you want and I’ll make it for you.” At that point, we had no interest in staying. This is simply not an acceptable way to treat customers. When a family with a young chil

a year agoLet’s just talk about the food - we grabbed and go - one of driest sandwiches we ever had - the bread seemed not to be fresh and it was so hard to swallow and bro, you charge 7 $ for a potato wrapped in bread as samosa? Does not worth for the money. Won’t be back!
