Toronto Crafts

I took some classes earlier this year and totally forgot to leave a review until now. This was a great experience! I did the woodworking basics class as well as the framing workshop and I learned a lot. The instructors were very kind, patient and knowledgeable. I am so pleased with the frames we made and couldn't recommend this place more for anyone looking to dip their toes into the world of woodworking.

We took a 4-hour woodworking class here to make a wooden box, and it was such a great experience. It was incredibly fun to get hands-on and work directly with the wood. Our guide was excellent and highly professional, walking us through the process smoothly. We had a fantastic time creating something from scratch, and the finished box turned out absolutely beautiful!

I took a bunch of classes with Toronto Crafts including the leather making, hand made wooden tools and others. Soroush who is the owner is a super friendly, professional and talented guy. I enjoyed all the classes so much I will be going back for more. This is The best art and craft shop in Toronto in my opinion.

Had an awesome time making charcuterie boards! Soroush was a fantastic instructor. This was truly the most hands-on experience I've had at any workshop. The finished product was beautiful also!

My husband and I had the BEST experience building our nephew’s custom advent calendar with Soroush at Toronto Crafts! We came in as complete beginners with big, ambitious ideas, and while we initially thought it would be fairly easy…. we quickly realized it was actually a lot of work and required way more planning than we expected! Soroush was incredible from start to finish. He walked us through every step, coached us patiently, and still let us work the machines ourselves so we could truly learn (even when it took us some trial and error to figure things out)! He was so kind and encouraging the whole time, even when I’m sure it must have been frustrating to watch us attempt things he already knew wouldn’t work out the way we hoped!! He was also unbelievably accommodating. The moment we messaged him, he made time for us right away. He even stayed late after his events to help us, whic

Excellent experience. I did the stained glass fundamentals class. They were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The experience, as well as the skills I left with, exceeded all expectations.

Toronto Crafts is a fantastic experience! My wife and I attended the charcuterie board making class, and it was truly a lot of fun! Soroush was a great teacher, who made the dauntingly foreign (to us, anyway) woodworking task a laugh-filled breeze. We learned some skills, and went home proud of our end product. Thank you Soroush and Toronto Crafts!

Highly recommend Toronto Crafts! I recently celebrated a birthday with a private stained glass workshop and it was a great experience from start to finish. Soroush was a wonderful instructor and brought such good energy to the session. He was patient and knowledgeable, ensuring we felt comfortable with every step. He kept us laughing the whole time and generously gave us water + cookies. Thank you for a memorable celebration. I’ll definitely be back for another class in the future :)

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening making charcuterie board - lots of fun

The stained glass workshop was really well run. Good pacing, excellent instruction, and we left with beautiful art pieces. The staff are helpful and funny. There were a lot of glass options to choose from. With only about 10 people, it was easy to get help and access the tools. The design of the new space on Geary is still in-progress, but it was clean and easy to work in. Definitely recommend!

Soroush taught an amazing introduction to woodworking class, where we took a raw piece of wood and made it flat! He jam packed the session with information, answering every question we had with detail and providing us multiple ways to do the same thing. He's really got a knack for teaching 10/10!

Its an absolutely awesome experience to have with friends of a group of people.

It was incredibly fun to get hands-on and work directly with the wood.

Room was well stocked with equipment and very clean.
