Sultans Grill Waterloo

Came here for the first time and I was greeted by the server Ismet. He was friendly and welcoming with a warm smile. I was looking for rice for my son who loves rice. I ordered a small and told me I might as well take the chicken as I'm paying for it anyways. He offered sauces and cashed me out. The food looked fresh and well prepared. The chicken and rice were absolutely delicious and my son loved it. The store was clean and the service was great. I'd definitely go back!

Placed a large order for a group event and everything was amazing! The owner & whole team were super great throughout the whole process. Every single person loved the food asked where it was from. Will definitely order from here again. (Provided vegan options as well).

Best shawarma spot in the area. I ordered a half chicken dinner and it definitely beats other places for taste and for what you get. It was served in this big tray and needless to say I was amazed at first. The owner and staff are very sincere and respectful. Highly recommend this place over other shawarma spots.

I am a university student and have been coming to Sultan’s for the past three years for their student special. It’s amazing and definitely worth the price! I couldn’t recommend it more. The staff are always welcoming and happy to accommodate my order preferences.

The ceasar wraps are to die for. Chicken is always cooked to perfection. But they need AC in there it’s too hot for the workers, feels like a sauna at all times

I ordered the Sultans Bowl, but it didn’t come with veggies. Although it tasted great and the portion was decent, I didn’t receive everything included in the price I paid.

I called to ask who the Halal Meat Supplier is to do self-verification. An Indian lady picked up the phone and put up an attitude towards my question. Instead of being proactive or empathetic, her attitude was incredibly dismissive. She said the owner or manager was not available, which is fine, but I asked if she could simply check the box of meat, or ask a coworker, which she was completely unwilling to do. Her tone was combative. I have called dozens of restaurants for self verification, and they are usually quite respectful, co-operative, understanding and demonstrate a sincere willingness to help. If the lady didn't put up an attitude and wasn't dismissive, I would not have left this review. I'm willing to update this review if I receive an apology for the attitude I received, as well as more transparency on the specific halal supplier. The restaurant should also ensure all their

I ordered half a chicken over the phone. I was in a rush going to work. I've seen a lot of complaints about the food, but I decided to give it a chance. Actually, I've been coming here many times. I get it cheaper, but it's not worth getting burned chicken with no hummus topping. What the hell? Come on, do better. So i would recommend for ppl ordering on the phone just check ur food before u pay ..

I have ordered chicken shawarma, taste was good but there is no reason to have plastic. Could you please ask your team members to be little cautious while filling the platter. This may lead to fatal injury if consumed.

I usually LOVE this place the garlic sauce is typically to die for. I’m not sure if this time was a one off or if there is new management but the garlic sauce was awful the potato’s were raw and uncooked and I received my order with half of it missing. I might give it one more try but it’s really such a shame to see a place that was amazing slip through the cracks :(

We ordered pickup yesterday for two chicken sultan wraps. The bread was too hard to bite, as if it were stale. The wrap was dry, including the chicken. Completely disappointed.

Good portions, fresh salads juicy and good flavoured chicken and beef shawarma.
