Visited Royal Game Cafe & Lounge recently and honestly had a great time. The vibe is chill, the setup is perfect for board games, PS5, and VR, and it’s an amazing spot to come with friends for game nights. The staff is super welcoming and helpful, food and drinks are good, and the overall atmosphere makes you want to stay longer than planned. Loved how organized and lively everything felt — especially during group games. If you’re looking for a place where you can actually interact, play, laugh, and enjoy instead of just sitting around, this is it.

Perfect place to hang out with family and friends. Whether it’s for a cup of coffee or some fun game time, this spot has a great vibe. They also offer a private room, which is perfect if you want your own space to play games of your choice, enjoy music, and have a great time. An excellent option for celebrating birthdays, Christmas, or any special occasion.

I recently hosted a fantastic friend's night here, and I'm honestly thrilled we found this spot. Royal Game Cafe & Lounge is hands down the best game cafe in Richmond Hill and a gem for a casual hangout. The atmosphere is superb! It has that perfect, cozy cafe vibe while still being lively enough for a great game night. My whole bestie group loved the setup. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and the service kept us fueled with great selection of holiday menu items and food options!❤️ If you're looking for an amazing new spot for an event or just the best hangout place to connect with friends, please check this place out! Amazing new Cafe with Holiday menu / Great Coffee and Lot of Board Games to enjoy. Private lounge section for small gatherings too which was great . Had a great vibe overall. Must come down to Richmond Hill for this hidden spot!!

Went there with friends, the location is great from access and parking point of view, but the best part started when we arrived in the cafe, greeted with a genuine smile and the hostess (Ms. G) showed our table, explained us the process there and several games, very kindly and patiently, then she helped us to set up our game, we ordered some hot drinks and all were perfect. One thing happened that night and there was a fire alarm from a neighbouring restaurant, our hostess helped us to navigate through that moment and understand the situation. She is very friendly, professional and organized. I really enjoyed our time at that cafe and recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy some time with friends or family. Played for hours at this board game cafe! Great selection of two player games and snacks. The staff was very kind and professional!

I had a very disappointing experience at this café. The service was unprofessional, and the staff’s attitude was unwelcoming. The food took too long to arrive, was poorly presented, lacked flavor, and definitely wasn’t worth the high prices. Overall, not a place I would recommend.

One of the worst board game cafes I’ve been to. Lets just start of by saying that every person has to pay 10-15$ per hour to play games there even though your dining in. We didn’t know that and we weren’t told this, one of my friend saw it on a chalkboard and told us so we asked. But we were never told about the per hour price at all. The lady there was not nice at all, she looked like she didn’t want to be there, and she said she was the owner. The food there wasn’t good at all, I ordered the ceaser salad with chicken breast which barely had any chicken in it. I was going to order the chicken wings but she said that would take 40-50 mins so I didn’t end up ordering that. There isn’t many games just about 4-5 shelves and that’s it. I do not recommend this place at all.

Came here a couple months ago Told us to seat ourselves, No water offered, no menus, didn't look at us with our hand up. There was a private group however that came in and the server immediately offered water a nd menus and introduced herself. Absolutely horrid.

I made a reservation at this cafe to play mafia with a group of more than 10 people. It was $100 deposit to secure the spot. Eveyone arrived and paid their tabs. I requested they return the $100 deposit. They did not return it and after calling several times I have only been ignored. I do not recommend reserving with them.

We were a group of 2. we came on friday at 9 p.m and we were playing Fifa. The lady who was working there as a server was so rude and behave very angry like we killed one of her family😐.She came at our sofa with very bad behave and told us when do you want to leave cuz I have reservation (she should have told us earlier but she didn't). we always came there but never be back again👎👎👎👎👎Bad experience
