We had such a wonderful experience with Merrypix Photography! Mary made us feel so comfortable throughout the session, and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful and natural. We couldn’t be happier with our pictures!
We had an absolute wonderful experience with Merry for our newborn shoot. She had brought a suitcase full of props and lighting accessories to our home for the shoot. She was so patient in setting up and making sure baby was happy. She took photos with different set ups including family photos. I was so happy to see the final outcome. She takes her time and is in no rush. I would definitely recommend her for beautiful newborn photos.
Merry is incredible! Not only does she capture beautiful photos, but she does so in the most amazingly gentle and patient way!
We arranged a maternity photo session at her studio and the pictures turned wonderful. Then we used her home service for our son’s newborn session. She was phenomenal with our little man!
She LOVES what she does and her passion comes across during the photo sessions!
We come back to her every year for all our family/portrait photo shoots.

5 years agoI booked her services as a gift for my friends newborn. She did a phenomenal job, the photos came back gorgeous! My friend and her husband were so pleased with her work and her professionalism. I highly recommend Merry for all your photography needs.
If I could give negative stars I would. Maryam gave the worst experience I have ever had in service ever. The reviews here are all clearly fake.
To start, She has the worst communication which is vital in this field. I have been trying to reach her for the last FOUR months. She will not get on the phone or answer messages AND she has completely went MIA for the last month.
Beware she will not edit your photos the unedited and edited photos will look almost identical. She has not fix the edits we agreed upon and will not send me the requested photos of my newborn son.
She will over charge and I felt like I had to direct most of the shoot and remind her to change outfits, settings and props.
I have taken a before video of my unedited photos when I was in the studio and will show the edited photos she sent me… dark and terrible.

This is my third time doing newborn photoshoot. And Merry hasn't shown any skills in my newborn photography. I feel I have wasted my $450. I took a 2hrs drive to her studio bcoz i thought she will do a good job. MAN!!! I was soo wrong! She made me w8 exactly 3weeks to deliver the photos straight from her camera with zero editing. All thr photos are so dark! Even the background are horrible no editing or so!! She claims she has edited, if thats true she is soo bad at her work!!! If you want ppl to spend such money, u better be good at ur work otherwise they would feel their money being stolen!! The most sad part is I cant go back to that 11days old of my newborn for another shoot. Not only my money but my precious time of my baby is gone!! All this review with full starts are probably fake! Becoz i found nth matched in person!!
A word of caution, don’t get deceived by all these positive reviews.
I found Merry’s ad on Facebook marketplace, and browse through her instagram profile and were pretty impressed by some of her newborn photoshoot. She was definitely not the cheapest one on Facebook, but since we wanted some of those similar photos for our baby, we booked an appointment with her.
Now let’s see pros and cons with her:
Pros:
She definitely have great collection of props.
She had very good set of equipments and quality of raw images were very good.
Cons:
Impatient: Definitely not patient as other reviews brag, She mentioned that it would take up-to 4 hours depending upon the baby, how well he/she co-operates during the shoot. But on the day of shoot she started rushing after 2 hrs, she left our home within 3 hr of arrival and after multiple requests, she didn’t even provided the key 2 out of 3 pictures we c

She charged me a tone of money and I got a very poor service
At the time of booking and taking the money she was very nice she showed me really good pictures as samples of her work which I’m not sure if it was her work or she just showed me for the sake of making money
She made our pictures look so fake she did same pose for the baby like 6 times just added some cheap items which made me really disappointed
When I reached out to her about how I felt about the picture she asked me for more money in order for her to change the picture and add different backgrounds
If you don’t want disappointment please look elsewhere for a professional photographer
We absolutely love our newborn photoshoot that Merry captured! You can tell she has experience working with babies. She was soothing our baby, putting him to sleep and was very patient. Merry is very nice and we are happy with the photos she took - she's a professional indeed.
