I travel from Dubai and visit Toronto regularly, and I can honestly say Inception Hair Studio is one of the best salons I’ve been to. I had my hair extensions done by Maryam and I’m absolutely in love with the result! She is incredibly talented, professional, patient, and such a lovely person. She really knows what she’s doing and pays attention to every little detail. My extensions look so natural and beautiful even better than I expected! The whole salon has a great atmosphere, everyone is welcoming, and the service is excellent. I’m extremely happy with my experience and will definitely come back whenever I’m in Toronto. I highly recommend Mayim, especially for hair extensions. She is amazing! ❤️

We had the best experience for my son's first haircut! As a first-time mom, I was nervous, but Farzad made the entire experience so easy and enjoyable. He was incredibly patient, gentle, and extremely careful throughout the haircut. He spent the whole time playing with my son and making him feel comfortable—and amazingly, my son didn't cry at all! He actually enjoyed the entire session. A huge thank you as well to the receptionist Tanaz and Faraz, who was so kind and helpful. She kept playing with my son throughout the appointment and made us both feel so welcome. I truly couldn't have asked for a better first haircut experience. Thank you both for your kindness, patience, and professionalism. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience for their little one!

After 6+ years as a loyal customer, I walked into this salon with long, healthy hair and walked out with severe breakage, missing sections of hair, and damage significant enough that nearly one-third of my hair had to be cut off. I still have a handful of missing sections closer to the roots including forehead which will require years to grow back (pic). The salon later darkened the colour in an attempt to correct the result, but some of the damaged areas still won't properly hold the colour and remain visibly lighter than the rest of my hair. What makes this especially disappointing is that I'm not a hair professional. That's exactly why I pay for professional services—to assess risks, ask the right questions, and guide the process safely. Unfortunately, I did not receive that level of care. Hair grows back. I had my haircut done by "Bahar", and she is the only hairstylist I’ve ever been completely satisfied with. I genuinely follow her wherever she goes because I trust her talent and expertise. In my opinion, she is one of the most skilled, creative, and professional hairstylists in the industry. She has an exceptional eye for detail and always knows how to create a haircut that suits you perfectly. I also had my blow-dry and styling done by "Lang", whom I met for the first time at Inception Salon. She is incredibly kind, welcoming, and full of positive energy. She is dedicated, patient, and truly passionate about her work. You can tell she puts her whole heart into achieving the best possible result, and her attention to detail is outstanding. I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences at Inception salon! Farzad does an incredible job—not only as a talented hairstylist but also in creating such a welcoming and well-managed salon. If you want to pay between $600 and $1000 for a hair colour that you didn't ask for and to wait with your hair wet over half an hr while Farzad squeezes in another client, and then get a basic haircut - This is the place for you! A total disappointment, and the entitlement for a service that doesn't at least meet your expectations (for this kind of money, you should be on cloud nine with your results!) - not dispute the results (wrong colour and basic hair cut - not even close to what i asked for) and especially the overpriced service.

I had explained the hairstyle I wanted to Farzad in advance, and he confirmed he could do it, but when I arrived, he told me my hair was too short and that I needed extensions. With only two hours before my event, it was too late to arrange that. Unfortunately, the makeup experience with Tannaz was even worse. She took almost two hours and struggled to apply the false lashes properly. The result was so poorly done that she used very thick eyeliner to cover it up. When I saw myself in the mirror, I ended up washing the makeup off and rushing to get myself ready for the event. Instead of enjoying the preparation for a special occasion, I left feeling stressed and extremely disappointed. I have never had such an unprofessional experience with hair and makeup before. Please choose carefully, especially when you’re trusting someone with an important event and your time.

Inception hair studio is so amazing!! I had an AMAZING experience! They were Also nice and also caring and treated me with respect and this is the first hair salon I came to with nice people! Fazard did my hair and he did it so amazing! I did my highlights and I was very impressed!! Come to inception because you WILL have an amazing experience 🩷 It looked so amazing for my birthday !!

Three weeks ago, my younger sister went to Inception Hair Studio for a straight perm. From the very beginning, the stylist seemed irritated that this treatment takes time. We clearly communicated beforehand that she wanted a straight perm. However, the procedure the stylist performed was unusual and not at all what is standard for this treatment. The result was extremely disappointing, especially for a price of 550$, we expected a high quality treatment. After washing her hair at home, nothing had changed, it was still curly. Worse, because her hair was already sensitive, the treatment left it even more damaged. When we brought up our concerns, instead of explaining the products or clarifying that what they were offering was not actually a straight perm but something different (essentially just a “defrizzing” treatment), both the stylist and the manager ignored our wishes and concerns c

Farzad needs to either put down the scissor or get some training. He has no idea what he is doing. I got a horrible hair cut from him and my hair has not recovered yet! I fell for the reviews! I do not recommend this hair salon.

Google Maps and their website say they are open on Sundays, but they’re are not!! Their appointment system accepted and confirmed my booking for a Sunday and when I showed up at the salon it was closed. When I called to ask when they were coming, they said they were closed every Sunday and had tried emailing me to cancel. I did not receive any emails. Very disappointing and frustrating!!

I had a disappointing experience at this salon as a new customer. From the moment I arrived, it felt like new clients were not very welcomed. Even though I had an appointment booked, it didn’t seem to matter much because the regular customers were clearly given priority. Another frustrating part was the way appointments are handled. When booking, they ask which stylist you would like, which gives the impression that your appointment will be with that person. However, when I arrived, I was assigned to someone else without any explanation or apology. It made the whole booking process feel meaningless. If the salon cannot guarantee appointments with a specific stylist, it would be better to be transparent about it rather than asking customers to choose someone and then changing it later. A simple explanation or apology would also go a long way in making customers feel respected. Overall,
