I had such a great experience here! This was my second time coming back specifically because of Ana. She is incredibly kind, attentive, and always makes sure I’m happy with everything throughout the appointment. She does an amazing job with my curly hair, and I always leave loving the result! She’s also so easy to talk to, and we always end up having great conversations, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely keep coming back to see her. The best in town! I had my wash and style done by Ana and I’m so happy with my choice. If you’re looking for a cozy, friendly, and welcoming spot, this is the place to go. The salon is bright, clean, and beautifully organized .Impressive for a business successfully run for over 8 years by Persian-Canadian owner Parastoo. Had a fantastic experience here! I got highlights at a different studio (first picture) with a toner that I didn’t love. Two weeks later, Parastoo was able to tone it to the perfect color. If you have curley hair - go here!!! 💗🤗

I've been getting my hair coloured and cut here consistently for over 5 years. Parastoo is so professional and always very transparent about what is possible and the cost when it comes to the services I have been provided. Each time I leave the salon, I feel like a whole new person with how well she revamps my hair. I highly recommend a visit here for anyone looking for a warm environment and A+ service.

This place is my go-to for haircuts in Toronto. It’s a cute, cozy salon with a welcoming vibe - the kind of place where you actually feel comfortable hanging out, not just sitting in a chair. The owner is super friendly and attentive, and my stylist Mary is one of the most meticulous people I've ever met. My hair isn’t the easiest to cut, but she always takes the time to make sure every detail is right and that I’m happy with the final look. What makes this place stand out though is the atmosphere. There’s no sense of being rushed; you feel like the staff genuinely want you to leave feeling good, not just “done.” Everyone I've met there has the same thoughtful approach. The pricing is likewise fair - definitely affordable for the quality you get. It feels like you’re paying for a personalized experience rather than just another quick cut, which makes it a great value.

I’ve been going to Parastoo at Hair ‘N Mirror for 7 years and honestly, if I could give her 10 stars, I would! She’s not only amazing at what she does, but we’ve also built such a lovely personal connection over the years. Our appointments are always a highlight, and she knows exactly what to do with my hair every single time. You can tell she genuinely cares about her work and wants you to leave feeling your best. I leave happy every single time and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. Couldn’t recommend her more!

Amazing salon run by a kind woman!.

Hair 'N Mirror Studio is excellent. Parastoo is an artist - instead of automatically choosing a colour/cut, she listens to what you want and checks with you at every visit the shading and cut of your hair. She works with my hair - finding colours that complement my base so the results are natural. Talented and well trained, Parastoo is also kind and patient. I appreciate that this boutique shop pays attention to each client. Highly recommended.

Terrible service! They give you one price and then suddenly change it. They try to scam you by saying, “I can try, but I don’t promise anything,” so basically I’m supposed to pay double the price and you still can’t guarantee you can properly do my hair? Then, after I agree to the price, she’s suddenly “too busy” and tells me she can’t do it because she doesn’t have enough time. Yet on the phone, before I came, she told me YES, she could do it! And then she tries to charge me double the price in person? Ridiculous. I completely wasted my time coming here. Never come to this place

the hairdresser said I for sure have lice/nats according to her 25 year medical experience, and gave me a lot of criticism, however doctors confirmed it was EASILY sebum. Scared me so bad for no reason and gave me so much anxiety over something that should be common for a hairdresser to see. Also charged $130 when I asked for a trim which I think is a lot

I am devastated. I asked for a trim (Literally said 2inches MAX) and showed picture of the length I was looking for and walked out with 6 inches chopped off, after trying to grow out my slow-growing hair for years. Be sure to be explicit with what you want. Will not be returning. Ladies are wonderful and kind but this is the most I’ve hated my haircut in 15 years. I cannot look in the mirror without crying

Unfortunately they don’t have a privet room for Hejabis They used to be hejab friendly now they’re not

I did the root toptouch (10+ for a bit longer than root) and hair cut (maybe around 2-3 inches), and was charged by 260 by cash, because the owner said if I pay by credit card, needs to 3% up. This salon looks a bit dirty and old. Recently, I went to another salon nearby in the intersection of Bay and Grenville St with very nice and clean environment, the same service was charged around 185 CAD by credit card. Don't call me, last time I left this review the owner called me, so I deleted it. This time I will not delete my review.
