I have been bringing my Daughter here since she was 3 years old and we always have such a lovely experience. The front staff are so sweet and kind. Very welcoming and very helpful. Dr. Zargar is absolutely wonderful with my daughter. Very patient, caring and really took the time to make sure my daughter was comfortable throughout the appointment. You can truly tell that everyone here genuinely cares about their patients and goes above and beyond to provide such a positive experience. We are so grateful for the kindness and professionalism from everyone. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for an amazing optometrist and a truly caring team!

Very satisfied with the visit. Dr. Zargar takes the time to explain everything in details. All the team is helpful. Also our kids go there and we are very happy with the services. I am enjoying the reading glasses and thanks to Dr Zargar for being patient and accommodating after some changes that i needed in my prescription.

I’m very satisfied with my experience. The doctor Zargar the time to thoroughly examine my eyes, answered my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the visit. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for excellent eye care.

I took my 4 year old to have a routine eye exam and although the admin staff were lovely and polite, I have serious misgivings about how this clinic is run. They informed me that we would be charged around $60 to image my son's retina as part of the exam. Even though, I told them I was not interested in doing that and just wanted to do the OHIP part of the exam, I was told I had no choice. I asked again is that allowed under their governing body as I believe when something is covered by OHIP it is illegal/unethical to upsell patients. Again, they told me I had no choice. Since we were already there we proceeded with the exam. Since then, I have been even more disturbed as after doing my research and asking my ophthalmologist friend, I was told that the exam they charged us for isn't even recommended for a chlid with no symptoms. I had one of the worst experiences with Dr. Zargar. She was extremely rude and impolite, and instead of focusing on my son’s eye health, she pressured us into buying their overpriced glasses. The way she did it was especially upsetting—she turned to my son and said “it depends on your dad’s decision” in front of him, making me feel like I wasn’t taking care of his health just because I questioned their high prices. It felt manipulative and guilt-driven, not professional care. I walked out feeling upset and taken advantage of. This is not how medical care should feel. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to think twice before going here.

I’m truly disappointed with Dr. Zarger’s office. I asked for a simple renewal of my son’s contact lenses, but they insisted on booking a full annual eye exam and an additional lens check—with separate charges for both. My son has been a patient there for many years, and every year we’ve paid for his check-ups. A friend of mine told me check up should be free, but when I brought this up, the staff said, “No, we charge because we take photos.” I asked them to just do a basic test without the photos—they refused. I even explained that my son can’t see without his lenses and that we just needed a renewal to get by, but they said there’s nothing they could do. After so many years as their patient, I was shocked by the lack of compassion and flexibility. We ended up going to another optometrist who renewed everything without any extra fees. I went to this eye clinic for a full eye check-up. I paid $225 for the exam. After the exam, I requested my PD (pupillary distance) — which is a basic measurement that should be part of my prescription. Instead of giving it to me, they asked for an extra $55 just to share my own PD number. They tried to push me to buy glasses from them, and it felt like they were holding my prescription hostage to force a sale. I find this very unprofessional. If I pay for a full exam, I should receive my full prescription, including PD. Charging extra for something so basic is just a way to make more money from patients. I don’t recommend this place at all. If you want your prescription to shop around or buy glasses somewhere else, be careful — they will make it difficult and costly. I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Zargar’s Eye Care in Richmond Hill. I ordered both eyeglasses and sunglasses, and unfortunately, the lenses on both were made incorrectly, requiring a full reorder. The original wait time was already lengthy, and the reordering process added significant further delays. Communication throughout was poor. I had to follow up multiple times for updates, and responses were inconsistent. On one occasion, after being placed on hold, the staff member was unable to provide any information and asked me to call back the next day to speak to someone else. There were other times where staff seemed unaware of the status of my orders, which contributed to a sense of disorganization. I was informed that the new eyeglass lenses were damaged in the lab and that the sunglasses were delayed due to customs — issues I only learned about after inquiring myself. I ult

Dr. Zargar and her whole staff made my experience one of the best I have ever had from the moment i walked in the front door. Everyone was extremely nice, professional and knowledgeable. This is also one of the most advanced technological optometrist office i have ever been to and the attention to detail is second to none. I was explained thoroughly every result in all of the tests I had done, and was never rushed during any point of my visit. Dr. Zargar is an outstanding optometrist and person as her personality was not only professional but very easy to talk to. I can't recommend Dr. Zargar Eyecare more!!
