I've had a fantastic experience getting extraction of my fractured root canal done. The office is incredibly clean, modern and welcoming. The staff greets you with sweet smiles and the Office Manager, Fausta is an amazing lady. She's very kind, friendly, approachable and accommodating. Dr. Abolfazl Ghorbani, is incredibly kind, explaining every step of the process and patiently answering all my questions. He genuinely cares about you. My treatment went very smoothly and I'm thrilled with my results. So glad my family dentist (Pearl Dental Group) referred me this clinic for my orthodontic journey. I cannot recommend Dr. Ghorbani highly enough! Before finding him, I was incredibly anxious and stressed about my wisdom teeth. Another dentist completely terrified me because my X-rays and CT scans showed severe nerve compression. They lacked the confidence to treat me, pushed me to do a complicated coronectomy that would require multiple future treatments, and handed me a massive stack of intimidating consent forms to sign. The moment I met Dr. Ghorbani, all of that fear completely vanished. He looked at my scans, put me entirely at ease, and confidently said, "This is easy, don't worry at all." I told him I was absolutely terrified of needles and surgery as i never had something like this in my past and he cracked a great joke, saying, "Worry if it’s my first time!" which instantly made me laugh and relaxed my nerves. I had a great experience with Dr. Ghorbani and his team. I had my wisdom teeth surgically removed, and throughout the entire process, Dr. Ghorbani was professional, caring, and very reassuring. He explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and confident about the procedure. The surgery went smoothly, and I truly appreciated the care and attention I received before, during, and after the procedure. The staff were also very kind and helpful. I first came to Dr. Ghorbani in late 2024, when I was experiencing pain from impacted wisdom teeth and was struggling to find a doctor to perform the removal. Many doctors turned me away due to my teeth being wrapped up in nerves, as they were afraid of causing me nerve damage. Dr. Ghorbani looked at my X-rays and literally said “this is easy,” after so many other doctors had told me they were unable to perform the procedure safely. He also identified my class III maloclussion, and suggested that this could be contributing to the pain as well. My wisdom tooth surgery went extremely smoothly, and I had a very easy and low-pain recovery (and no nerve damage)! I called Smile Oral Surgery to book a consultation for wisdom tooth removal and this office immediately raised red flags. Per Sun Life’s instructions, I asked them to submit a pre-estimate to insurance before my appointment. This is a standard procedure that prevents patients from being overcharged. The receptionist refused and claimed I needed to book a dentist appointment first for them to do that. That is false and appears to be a tactic to make patients pay out of pocket before the claim is approved so they can bill both the patient and the insurer. When I explained what Sun Life told me, the receptionist hung up on me. Completely unprofessional and unethical. This clinic relies on patients not understanding insurance procedures so they can get paid twice. If you have dental coverage, contact your insurer first and report this behavior. Avoid this place. Dr. Ghorbani and his team take advantage of patients’ lack of awareness about insurance and charge them for no reason. They wanted to charge me for 5,000 CAD for a surgery. I did the surgery with another specialist without paying a single dollar. Dr. Ghorbani only caused confusion and delayed my surgery.

Great service from nurses and surgeon. Front desk folks were very friendly. Dr Ghorbani actually walked my daughter to our car post surgery. Never have I every seen that!! Only constructive comment would be the lack of service by front desk on submitting dental estimates and final payment details to my insurance providers. Spent almost $2k and expect better admin services, as experienced with all my other dental service providers.
