Total Scam – Please Read Before Enrolling I enrolled in the makeup course at Chellsey Institute of Beauty and Health (Passion Beauty Academy) and deeply regret it. They handed me a price list that seemed high: $1,200 for a kit and $500 for books. Including tax, the total came to $1,921, yet they never showed any samples or photos so you could see what you were paying for. What I actually got • Kit: the cheapest, dollar-store-quality makeup and flimsy brushes, nothing close to professional • Books: despite the price list saying books (plural), I received one book, Makeup Masterclass, which sells for about $30.21 on Amazon • Exam fee ($50): charged only if you lack a high-school diploma. The exam was just a few fill-in-the-blank pages to complete at home, hardly legitimate I asked Ahmad, the person in charge, why the price list says books but they provided only one book worth $30.21 on

I had an amazing experience at Chelsey Institute! I completed my injectables course here, and it was by far the best training I’ve ever received. I’ve trained at other places before, but Chelsey Institute truly stands out for their professionalism, hands-on experience, and supportive environment. A special thank you to Ahmad and Amira for their incredible teaching, patience, and knowledge — they made the entire experience both educational and enjoyable. I am truly grateful to be a student at chellsey Institute . The Teachers are outstanding, and the environment is very supportive and professional. The college provides excellent practical knowledge along with strong theory, which helps build confidence and real salon skills. Both Teachers are patient, knowledgeable, and always ready to guide us. Because of this college, I feel more confident and prepared for my future in the beauty industry. Think twice before coming to a place like this. I’ve been here A few times, mostly for a wash and blow dry, and based on how they treated me and THEIR OWN STUDENTS, this place should be shut down. The pretentious teachers who work here do not have an ounce of kindness or consideration. I witnessed them speak very harshly to students, with one of the teachers belittling the student right in front of me. Despite this, I came back because the students, on the other hand, are very dedicated and kind and provide good service. Recently, upon scheduling and receiving confirmation, I drove 40 minutes to receive my service just for them to alert me when I was 5 minutes out that my appointment could not be taken. This school is clearly being run by people who do not truly care about providing a good experience for both their students and customers. AVOID!!!

I went to the Botox and dermal filler class at the Chellsey Institute. Before going, I spoke to someone on the phone and I was told that this class would be a maximum of 5 people. When I got there, there ended up being 12 of us. So I thought this was a class they run pretty regularly and so they would know how to manage the bigger class size. This was not the case. I noticed that during the model portion, where we were to inject the models in order to get hands on training, the owner was continually trying to rush us through each model to get the next one in quicker. We didn’t get the chance to learn properly as it seemed like they wanted more people to come in. I would not recommend coming here.

If I could put zero stars I would so save your money. I attended the hair program and have very few good things to say about the school. the owner discriminates against his students and only cares about money, he will put down students and tell you that you have no rights to come in and speak to him about any problems you may be having in the school. My only saving grace when I attended this school was my instructor Ms.Lu she is very knowledgeable and caring and she was the only reason I was able to push through and finish my course in such a toxic and unwelcoming environment. However the other instructor was rude and will put you down for making mistakes without ways of fixing those mistakes. I was a student at chellsey institute in Burlington and have just completed my diploma in medical aesthetics. My time at chellsey institute was not very welcoming at all. This school is very unprofessional and unorganized. They hardly ever put soap, toilet paper, or paper towels in the bathrooms. The bed sheets that we used for clients were always dirty, stained with massage oil and it took them months to replace. There was consistently a problem with not booking clients properly. The staff would give us dates for certain course training days and constantly changed it, which forced me to take 4 days off of work without notice. This school is overall very unorganized. My old teacher was amazing, she was always understanding and willing to help, unfortunately she had to take a leave of absence for medical reasons. WARNING ⚠️- Do not give this institution any business. They rip off their students. I had registered with them last August for Laser hair removal diploma, made my deposit of $250 with one of the consultants name AHMAD. 2 weeks after registration, my work hours changed and I couldn’t attend the morning class, I asked for evening class and there were not available, this is 3 months before even the program started. I asked AHMED if I could ask for refund, since I cannot continue, he told me, we don’t do refund but you can use it towards anything else either a different program or spa services. I called him back after couple of month to book spa appointment he refused to do so and started threatening me to stop calling the school told me to get lost. When I called to inquire about the program, Ahmed, the owner was available to talk and answer all my questions. Ahmed responds to emails almost instantly, showing from the beginning of our interaction that he is setting his students up for success.
