3 months agoWe had the Vaziri and Torsh kebabs, and they were absolutely amazing! The meat was incredibly juicy, tender, and full of flavor. 😍 We truly loved this restaurant. The owner was so warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They also served complimentary tea and soup, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend this place—we’ll definitely be back!

10 months agoSuch a beautiful place with a really cozy vibe it honestly gave me the feeling of being back in Iran. We ordered dizi, tongue & cheek, and the pan kebab, and everything was absolutely delicious. Before and after our meal they even brought us tea, which was such a nice touch. The customer service was amazing as well . we asked for extra lemon, torshi, and bread, and they were so welcoming and generous about it. I definitely, definitely recommend this place👌🏻

7 months agoI had a wonderful experience at Arjan Restaurant. The kebabs were perfectly grilled, tender, and flavorful. The dizi was authentic and hearty, and the soup was fresh and comforting. Everything tasted homemade. Highly recommend if you want quality Persian food!

a year agoLocated in the heart of old Richmond Hill, Arjan (ارجان) Restaurant (formerly known as Golpayegani Kabab Sara) presents a banquet of Persian delicacies. With expert suggestions provided by the owner, Mehran, I selected a trio of items, including: 1. Ash-reshteh (آش رشته) 2. Loqma kebab wrap (کباب لقمه) 3. Pan Torsh (Pomegranate) kebab (کباب تابه ای) The Ash-reshteh was a rich, hearty Persian noodle soup mixed with greens/herbs and legumes. Perfect for a cold winter day. The Loqma kebab wraps were meaty and light, and served as a worthy introduction to the main course - the Pan Torsh kebab. This was a work of genius - the sweet, tart, tangy infusion of pomegranate permeating the flat chaplee-style kebab. Mehran generously took the time to sit together and offer his wisdom regarding the finer points of Persian cuisine. I learned a great deal about the unique culinary culture of Iran,

7 months agoI had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in, everything felt welcoming and professional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was truly exceptional. You can really tell when people care about what they do — and it shows in every detail. The quality exceeded my expectations, and the overall experience was smooth, pleasant, and memorable. I genuinely appreciate the attention, kindness, and professionalism. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

Edited 3 months agoUpdated: July 2026 Original review (2025) We love Persian food, and are always on the hunt for a truly authentic experience. And we certainly found great, authentic Persian food at Arjan. We tried their Dizi with Lamb’s Neck, as well as a hearty bowl of Ash Reste. Both were delicious, and the meal came with two medium size bowls of barley soup as complimentary appetizers. With the delicious bread accompanying our order we were absolutely stuffed and content when we left. The service here is genuinely warm and friendly. The lady who served us went to great pains to be sure we understood what we were ordering, and was delighted that we were willing to try something other than kebab and rice. We can’t wait for her reaction when we get back to order some tongue, some “meat of face”, some trotters and some brain! Update July 2026 We were finally out in Richmond Hill again so made a poin

Edited a year agoThe food we ate was really good though very greasy. The worst part was that it was unnecessarily overpriced. (2 meals cost us over 70$) We bought yogurt drinks for 9 bucks, even though I found the same thing for 3 bucks on the internet in like 5 seconds. Very overpriced. Not gonna come back. Not recommended.

a year agoI recently ordered kale pacheh from this restaurant for takeout. Unfortunately, the wait time was excessively long. When I finally got my food, I found the quality to be quite poor. The taste was very mediocre, and it was overpriced for what I received. Definitely not going back again.

10 months agoWhen they have group lunch reserved they should not accept more customers , yesterday there was 4 prople for lunch , unfortunatley they were so so loud and did not respect other customers , we had to take out our food after tea and soup , owner was informed that we need quite place to eat and enjoy our food , but music was so loud and those people were louder than music in the public place ?! People should learn to respect others privacy , restuarant is not only for reserved people and if yes , please do not accept new customers , will never go there although the food is good . Thanks

Edited 7 months agoWe decided to visit after seeing the high Google rating. The elderly gentleman who brought our food was genuinely kind and welcoming. He started us off with tea in a traditional glass and soup, which we truly enjoyed. Unfortunately, the main dishes were disappointing. The Kaseh Kebab was not authentic at all and quite underwhelming. Prices are also higher compared to nearby restaurants nearby. Overall, it didn’t match the strong rating we saw online.
