My experience was definitely bad. I was being told I need to pay $500 deductible that from a small claim which was wrong and they fixed it at last…be very careful and read the terms yourself rather than trusting them. Please make sure you call to cancel before your term or they will call you several times to avoid it.

they increase The price without anyfurther notice and when I called the head office, they say yeah we increase the price every year. I don’t have any ticket no accident in past five years and I’m with them over eight years.

I had a policy from Dita for more than 5 years without a single claim being approved. When I tried to cancel my policy she avoided my calls and emails for 10 days. When I said I would complain she immediately wrote me back telling me everything had been taken care of, even promised a small refund for the time I had been kept waiting.... then the usual payment went through and they did not respond to my email. If they aren't outright liars then they are incompetent.

I strongly advise against Desjardins Insurance. As a loyal customer of over 9 years, I never utilized their services. However, when I made a single late payment (less than 24 hours overdue), they abruptly canceled my contract. Extremely disappointing experience. Avoid Desjardins Insurance altogether."

I am still with this company, I asked them to cancel my insurance but they haven't, my insurance went from $345 to $467, they have no shame. They charged me even when I asked them to cancel my insurance. They just want your money, they don't care about you at all. I canceled my insurance with these people, and now they're calling me from a collection agency every day, why according to them I didn't pay the last month of that insurance with Desjardins, I sent an email to ask what was going on, why did they send me to collection action, they told me that I was no longer a client of that place, I sent an email again with a screenshot with the charge for the amount of the insurance on my account statement to prove that I paid, but there was no response, so I was left with a problem which I must accept by canceling my insurance, if you want to avoid a headache think carefully and choose care
