Satoor is one of my brother's favorite butcher shops in Toronto. We usually buy their marinated beef and chicken, including chicken wings, lamb chops, and more. We have never had any issues with the quality of their products or marinades. I know they are a bit pricey compared to other places, but we are happy with our experience

Yesterday I bought koobideh meat and lamb chenjeh from Satoor Butcher Shop, and I specifically emphasized that I wanted good-quality meat because it was for my child. But the meat they gave me was absolutely terrible!!

Such a great find! This butchery shop is like a little slice of Persian heaven. The meats are super fresh and tasty, and they've got all the Persian goodies you could want, like spices and bread. Plus, the place is squeaky clean—you can see for yourself in the photos. Definitely my new go-to for quality meat and Persian treats!

I’ve been a customer at this shop for a while purely because of its convenience, but the owner’s behavior has made it impossible for me to continue. He’s consistently impatient, interrupts, and misinterprets what I say, often responding rudely. Today was the last straw. I expect good customer service in Canada, and this shop lost my business. I won’t be returning, and I hope others are treated better in the future.”

Very rude employee there. They don’t know how to treat the customer and they mixed old meets with fresh meats serve it to the customers. I’m never going back there.

Recently, I started to buy from this store, the first ground meat for Koobideh was fine, but the second time, the meat had a pale greenish color, smelled like old meat, and when I made the koobideh l, it tasted awful! They lost a client, I won’t be going back again!!! Very disappointed…

I bought liver from a butcher and specifically emphasized that it needed to be fresh. However, the seller gave me old liver. Unfortunately, we only realized this after cooking it, and we had guests at the time, which made the situation very unpleasant and embarrassing.

The place is super clean clean. The product on the display were wrapped clean. No stinky smell. The personnel looked clean and well-dressed. However, I bought 2 pounds lamb shank marinated. it was vacuumed packed . When I open it at home the quality was not good enough. each piece was smaller than I expected and fatty. I used to buy lamb shank from other Iranian store and I compared it to them. the price was a little higher. I add a photo to show the average size of the piece and the fat next to has been removed from another piece of bone.It was my first shop at the store on Feb 6, 2021 and very likely I am not going to this store again.

I honestly don’t understand how this meat shop sets its prices. Everything was extremely expensive, and there didn’t seem to be any clear logic or consistency behind it. It made the whole experience frustrating, especially when you can’t tell what you’re actually paying for or why it costs that much. Definitely not worth it for me.

I regularly buy lamb shank from this store for my infant and I’m always impressed with both the quality and the care the owner puts into his work. Although he may come across as serious at first, he is genuinely kind and considerate.

Highly recommend - #1 choice for amazing selection and high quality, fresh meat.
