We visited TahchinBar for lunch and had such a lovely experience. We ordered the Lubia Polo Tahchin and the Bademjan Morgh Tahchin, and both dishes were absolutely delicious — flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was very cozy and beautifully designed. Everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged, and the nostalgic music playing in the background made the experience even more enjoyable and relaxing. We also tried the Khiar Sekanjabin and Bahar Naranj drinks, and they were both refreshing and perfectly chilled. Overall, everything was amazing, and we would definitely love to come back again.

Tried Tahchin Bar recently and had a really good experience overall. The staff let us know upfront that the food would take around 20 minutes, which I appreciated since the communication was clear and accurate. The baghali polo, albaloo polo, and morgh bademjoon tahchins were all delicious and full of flavor. The loobia polo wasn’t really my favorite, but everything else was excellent. Definitely a spot worth trying if you enjoy Persian food!

Food is always delicious. It is unfortunate they were out of all of their appetizers today. Highly recommend trying the baghali polo tahchin.

Tahchin Bar is one of the best places to get Persian food, and their specialty is tahchin. Their Tahchin Macaroni, Ghormeh Sabzi, and Bademjoon Morgh are our favorites. They never disappoint with their portions or their stews. Totally recommend it!

I recently stopped by Tahchin Bar and tried their baqali polo, and wow—it was amazing! The crispy bottom and the fluffy, flavorful rice really made it stand out. It felt like comfort food with a fancy twist, and every bite was just pure joy. The relaxed vibe of the place made the whole meal feel super welcoming and genuine. I left with a big smile and a promise to come back again soon.

Food and value are accessible. Give it 3.75 / 5. The service is terrible if you want to call them fir take out or to order prior to arrival which important because preparing your meal tajes about half an hour. If you want to call them on any day and on any hour, the chances are they wont answer the phone. I bet they are missing out on sales just because they never answer the phone. Because of that you can never rely on them. For that i give them a 1/5. The atmosphere is terrible: the design and acoustics are in a way that you will be hearing the personel talking their personal life while they are in the kitchen. The least they can do is to play some light music. You cant go with a few friends to have dinner just because its such a boring place. For that its another 1/5.

The food I received did not match my order, which was very frustrating, especially since I clearly specified my order multiple times. A completely different meal was delivered, and I was charged a higher price than expected. In addition, no one answered the phone when I tried to contact the restaurant, and there was a significant delay in preparing the food.

It took too long to get our food. It’s a weekday, and I just wanted to have dinner and head home to rest before work tomorrow. I even brought my brother, who’s visiting, and honestly, I felt embarrassed for inviting him here. These days, dining out is not just about the quality or quantity of food., it’s about the overall customer experience and attention to detail. Unfortunately, while the food itself wasn’t terrible, the portions were small and the overall experience was very disappointing. 1. The starter was served after the main course. 2. The bread for the starter only arrived when we had already finished most of it. 3. The drink was so sour it upset my stomach. The only positive part of the evening was the polite and kind service from our waitress. I won’t be coming back.

We arrived there around 8:30 pm and we checked its opening hours on their website before as well that says 12pm-10 pm , but unfortunately they were closed. We drove from Richmond hill . It is really unorganized

The portion size and amount of meat offered were relatively small, especially considering the price. The rice was served in a significantly larger quantity than the meat. For the same price, other restaurants generally provide larger portions and a more balanced meat-to-rice ratio. Response to their reply: For $27 at Shamsiri Restaurant, you can have quality food and much bigger portions with a great meat-to-rice ratio. Please don't compare your brand to Mandarin lol.

We ordered Tahchin and waited almost 30 minutes for our food. When it finally arrived, the first spoonful had a hair in it. I informed the server immediately, but instead of removing the plate from the table right away, they just walked off to “ask what to do,” which was extremely unprofessional. After a while, the server came back and casually asked if we wanted them to replace the dish, but said we would have to wait another 25 minutes. We said we couldn’t wait that long, and they simply replied, “Okay, we’ll refund it,” with a very careless and dismissive attitude. The staff’s behavior was unacceptable, the service was very poor, and the whole experience felt disrespectful. Definitely not recommended.

Drove all the way from Montreal to Toronto aiming to eat this food but we couldn't make it, so we extended our visit another day just for this delicious food and it totally worth it!!! Super delicious and crispy, every spice and ingredient was just enough. I can't wait to go back for this food! I'm glad they don't have a branch in Montreal cause I would be 200lbs then!
