Title: Best and most honest mechanic shop in Richmond Hill!I recently had an emergency where my 2017 KIA Forte5 went into deep water during a heavy rainstorm, causing the check engine and oil pressure lights to flash. Thanks to the advice I followed, I towed the car directly to Mr. MechaniQ & Tires, where I had just done an oil change a few days prior.The mechanics here are absolute angels! They didn't try to rip me off or jump into telling me to replace the whole engine. Instead, they honestly and carefully removed the spark plugs, drained the trapped water, and cleared the codes. It took them time and professional labor, but when I asked to pay, the head mechanic refused to take my money and told me it was on the house!My car is now running smoothly again with no issues. Great service at reasonable prices. Was introduced to Mr Mechaniq by Ace Auto Sales, whom they use for all their repair work. Comfortable waiting area, free water, coffee or tea while you wait. For me it's a bit of a trek but worth it for mechanics I trust. Most recent work cost me less than half of what Mazda quoted for a MASS air flow sensor replacement and it was done within 30 minutes of my arrival. I highly recommend Mr Mechaniq, they're good people.
I had a great experience with Mr. Mechaniq. They replaced my car’s front brake system and explained everything clearly before starting the work. The entire team was professional, polite, and helpful. I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend them.
This shop has given me an excellent experience over the past few years. I bought one tire, a performance run‑flat tire, and compared prices at about four or five shops. Even though the difference was only around ten to twenty dollars, this shop still offered the cheapest price I could find.
What’s more, their service is outstanding: if you buy tires from them and have them installed at home, there’s no extra charge for installation.
The main reason I wanted to write this review is that after they installed my new tire, they told me one of my other tires was also quite worn. I already knew that, but they suggested swapping the front and rear tires for safety. I had only replaced one rear tire, so they voluntarily moved the new one to the front to make it safer.
And all of this was done at no extra cost. My overall experience was really great, and I will definitely come back to this sho

6 months agoI stop by for oil changes every now and then, and they’ve always treated me well. Service is fast, the staff are welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in what they do.
Big thanks to Mr. Rey and Saeed—they’re both great to deal with and always make everything easy. It’s nice having a place you can trust and feel comfortable going back to.

He helped me choose excellent tires for my vehicle, and the service and installation were top-notch. I’m extremely happy with the quality of the tires and the overall experience.

It is really better you inspect your car with more than one mechanic, as some of them are not reliable. Also, be careful about the parts you want to change like oil, filters, mechanical parts and special mechanic’s experience and behaviour. I'm not satisfied with this mechanic shop and honestly never back there even to change tiers as they didn't do maintenance on my car. They made more costs for me cause they couldn't diagnose what's is the issue and changed parts that were not issues. With respect to personnel who work in this shop, I advise you to find another.
I had a very bad experience at this place. I paid a visit to change my car oil and oil filter. After some milage the car engine went off and needed a new engine. When I checked the oil filter I found out they replaced an improper and unfit oil filter caused the engine failure due to low oil pressure. They didn’t give me a receipt for the oil change due to an obvious reason and didn’t accept their fault. If you still decide to have a service here, I highly recommend to ask for a receipt showing the part serial number and service details.

Wow this place...... Is a rip off they honestly break your car so you can pay more. Damage parts that weren't damaged and then lie saying they never did then charge you more. Went back 3-4 times with extra issues, they honestly do 25%-50% job just so you can come back and be stuck on buffering waiting for that 100% NEVER AGAIN DONT GO HERE ITS A HEADACHE.
They quoted me over 1500 worth of work needed on my car. I went to another mechanic and he changed my battery for 200$. That’s all that was needed. BEWARE OF THE SCARE TACTICS PEOPLE.
