This was our first time trying Turkish cuisine, and we were very impressed! Overall, the food was delicious, and everything was well prepared. What truly made our experience special was the excellent service. Our server recommended several dishes to us. Although I can’t remember all the names, every recommendation turned out to be delicious and enjoyable. We especially loved the complimentary bread with dips that our server brought to our table. The presentation was beautiful, with lovely colours, and the dips tasted just as good as they looked! To finish off the meal, the dessert and hot tea were the perfect ending to a wonderful dining experience. We were extremely happy with our visit and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy Turkish cuisine. We left with a great impression and look forward to coming back!

Good food, good service, nice cozy place. We tried their Sultan Kebab which was the highlight and the best dish of the night by a far margin. Their lamb chop and Adana dish were also pretty good. Karides shrimp dish was pretty mid and different than the photo on the menu. They also have live music on Fridays/Saturdays which was a nice extra touch. However, the volume was a bit loud and it was hard to converse and the singer seemed amateur . But overall good time and decent food, staff were nice.

We randomly saw this restaurant as we were driving home and sporadically decided to give it a try and was not disappointed! Had the pleasure of enjoying Turkish cuisine with a warm inviting environment. We were served by Manolya who was very professional, kind and informative as this was our first time and gave excellent recommendations on experiencing the culture. We were served a light appetizer with bread (very flavorful) and ordered the Iskender, Hunkar Benendl and Lahmacun (amazing). Rich in flavor and everything was delicious. They also have live performances around 9pm which was very nice. 10/10. Will be coming back again for breakfast!

I ordered from Ziyafet through Uber Eats for the first time and tried their Tombik Döner sandwich. They had a two-for-one promotion, which made the order reasonably priced, and it also came with fries. I was expecting a more traditional döner-style beef sandwich, but that was my own misunderstanding of the item. The homemade bread was probably the highlight—it was fresh, soft, and really tasty. The sandwich itself was not quite my type or what I was expecting, but it was fresh and tasted authentic. That said, I found the overall flavour profile a little mild and felt it could have used more seasoning and flavour. I was expecting more of that classic döner taste, which wasn’t really there. We were at Ziyafet on a week night to celebrate my son’s birthday, place is tastefully decorated, food is legit and great with good portion sizes, food reminded us of the food we sampled during our Turkey visit. Service was amazing, especially our server Manolya ensure we feel comfortable and well taken care. When she came to know we are celebrating birthday, she brought a complimentary small cake for my son, amazing jester! Overall five stars.

We tried this location for the first time. Customer service was fantastic, all staff were so energetic. The food was so delicious and fresh. Definitely recommended.

Food was Good and our server provided great service, the experience ended on a very disappointing note due to deceptive billing practices. Without any prior notice, menu disclosure, or website listing, a mandatory $15 per person "Entertainment Fee" ($105 total for our party of 7) was added to our receipt. To make matters worse, a 20% tip and 13% HST were both calculated using that $105 fee in the subtotal. While management did refund the base $105 fee after we brought it up, we were still left paying the extra tax and tip that had been calculated on that original total. If a restaurant charges live music fees or mandatory group tips, they must be clearly communicated to guests before seating or ordering, rather than snuck onto the bill at the end.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. The food quality was very poor, and almost everything we ordered lacked flavor. The restaurant was not clean, and there were flies inside the dining area, which made the experience even more unpleasant. At the end of the meal, we were offered complimentary tea and baklava, but the baklava didn’t taste fresh and was disappointing as well. Overall, the food quality, cleanliness, and overall dining experience were far below our expectations. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

TERRIBLE. I don’t know what happened to this place - a year ago it was great. Now it’s atrocious. Service was the worst, at every turn they said they had everything on the menu - then we ordered and suddenly they didn’t have Iskender, doner or lahmajun. They insisted they had the raki from our last visit…:then said oh no we don’t. We ordered sac/saj…it came out and then they said oh we don’t have a saj, it’s fried in a pan. Finally at dessert we asked please tell us what you DONT have….again they insisted they had everything. Only to once again say they were out of what we ordered. Finally kunefe came and we had to ask for even forks… There were constant flies, food was coming at the wrong times. Quality completely disappeared.

Terrible service and food quality messed up this Mother's Day. Felt as though all service after we finished ordering our food we were ignored up until we complained about how long it was taking for our food to come out. Even after our food finally came out there weere missing items. The steak we ordered wasn't even rung up apparently and the doner wrap we ordered had sold out and we weren't even informed until we asked what was happening because things were taking so long (over 30 minutes). The pide we was ordered fine, but nothing extraordinary, and the 2 pistachio kebabs we ordered were very dry. Would not recommend.

I decided to celebrate my birthday dinner at Ziyafet on Friday, March 6, based on a previous positive experience and the good reviews online. Unfortunately, the service we received was absolutely horrendous and completely ruined what was supposed to be a special evening. After being seated, we were ignored for over 20 minutes. No one brought us menus, water, or even acknowledged our table. Meanwhile, other guests who arrived after us were immediately greeted, given menus, and served. Some of those tables were already receiving their food before we were even given the chance to order. Eventually, the male server who was supposed to be taking care of our table (I believe his name was Sila) finally noticed us and brought menus. We ordered the platter for two, and then waited another 30+ minutes for our food. By the time it arrived, the tables that had been seated after us were already fin

Very disappointing experience. The food was completely different from the menu photos, and the service was extremely unorganized. Dishes were served with around 30 minutes between them, so some guests finished eating while others were still waiting. Management did not seem to care or take responsibility. Poor service and poor management overall. Not recommended.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff treated us like family.
