Youka and her team did a really great job my hair. The girl who washed my hair and styled it was very gentle and had really light hands so it was very relaxing and she even offered me coffee or tea. I’m so glad I found this place on TikTok and it didn’t disappoint, will definitely be coming back here.

My first time at Youka Beauty was amazing! They did exactly what I asked for and completely fixed my hair. I am so grateful to the salon and how well she does her job—she is incredibly talented and sweet. I highly recommend them!

I first came here March 2025 for a haircut and I loved it! I’ve been back twice since. Youka and her assistant are the sweetest ever. The first two times I went was for a haircut and she listened to what I wanted, kept checking in and it’s always very relaxing when they wash your hair. I have long hair and she never cuts too much, the blowouts are also amazing. I recently went in for a consultation because i had a bad box dye job and my roots were too light, youka recommended we just tone my roots and had me come in the next day. She didn’t compromise my vision or the health of my hair. She also didn’t yell at me for box dyeing my hair which I really appreciated LOL. She fixed it and it looked amazing, it was no longer blotchy and uneven. I have wavy/curly hair and she pinned up my blowout for me so that it would look good for when I was going out. Are you kidding me? Is this even real? This salon is hands down the BEST salon I’ve ever been to in Toronto. Not “one of the best”, literally the best. Everything from their hospitality, professionalism, attitude, energy, and respect toward clients is absolutely incredible. What really stands out is that they genuinely know what they’re doing. They don’t just give you a random haircut and send you home. They actually customize the style based on your face shape, your features, and what suits you best. The attention to detail is insane. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish, and honestly, everyone should try this salon at least once. Absolutely obsessed.

I had such an amazing experience at Youka Beauty & Supply! My haircut was absolutely incredible, my hair looks so voluminous, my layers are perfectly even, and for the first time I don't feel like I have that "egg head" look anymore (especially with my extremely thick hair I've been to high-end salons before expecting great results, but none of them met the level of precision and care that Youka delivered. She absolutely nailed it. This has to be the best haircut I've ever had, truly worth every penny. On top of that, the tea was amazing and the whole environment felt so peaceful and relaxing. Youka and her husband were both so kind, welcoming, and professional. You can really feel the positive energy as soon as you walk in. 10/10 experience. I highly recommend it and I'll definitely be back!

If you want to have uneven eyebrows, get your eyebrows threaded here for close to ~$20. Unpleasant experience.

If you have any self-respect, do not set foot in this place. The combs they use are caked with other people's hair, and when they style your hair, they actually can put the hairdryer right on the floor. It’s absolutely disgusting. I gave them a pass the first time because I liked the result and thought about going back. But the second time made it crystal clear- that was my last visit. The whole place is messy and unhygienic

I had a haircut here a few weeks ago and it was horrible. I decided to try this place because my old hair stylist moved. I asked for long layers & face framing (something I always get) and I cannot believe how choppy and uneven it is. After your hair is styled, you cannot see the unevenness. It is only after washing that you see the imperfections and by then it’s too late. I trusted that she would do a great job because of a video I saw. I would rather fix it somewhere else than to come back and ask her to fix it.

I don’t recommend going here. I paid 586$ dollars for my hair and all of the colour on my hair is gone. They’re just a scam and took money from me. I asked for layer cut and I didn’t receive that also. My hair colour that I have got dyed by them was red and now is gone and my black hair is back. I did this 2 days ago and I can’t believe I wasted money on them. They are just scammers.

I tried to give my hair the benefit of the doubt and sit on it for a month because the owner told me it takes time to adjust to but it’s just horrible. My initial quote for my hair was $315 (from the website, I added my hair length and it was virgin hair) and in the end I was charged $730 (due to the damage in my hair by “hair-dry”) . I asked for why I was being overcharged and the owner explained to my that my hair is two different colours from previous hair dye (spoiler its virgin hair and it just got lightened by the sun), I only got my hair dyed once and it was 7 years ago and I long chopped that hair off and got multiple haircuts since and my hair is strictly black beside the ends due to sun exposure. The hair I originally wanted was brown but the owner kept claiming it was blonde ( I asked several other people it was brown and a medium brown too) and I showed her the video too +

I’ve been to this location before and I’m noticing a trend: -Hairstylist figured that they knew what hair length was best and would not cut my hair to the length I wanted. Of course I respect input from a professional, however, after considering the input I expect the hairstylist to to ultimately perform the haircut that I want, especially when paying a lot of money for it. It was frustrating, I felt railroaded, and my preferences were not respected. -I booked an appointment and expected my time to be valued. I understand they’re busy, however, they should manage their bookings with regard to the clients time. Roughly 3 hours for a wash, cut, and blow out is unacceptable.

After waxing I just had to get my hair cut cuz they were so good!

All of the staff were incredibly friendly people and made my experience amazing.
