2 months agoBe prepared to wait a little as the food is made fresh, but it’s worth it! We ordered the beef and chicken skewer plate, and the food was delicious. The chicken in particular had so much flavour and was very juicy. The tea was also a great portion and tasty, with spices provided to add to your liking. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the barley soup available during our visit, but I would definitely come back to try it. There is ample seating available, and our server, Paniz, was very kind and attentive. Definitely recommend!

a month agoThere were definitely some things I really appreciated about this restaurant. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. One of the things I really liked was that they offer complimentary tea, either before or after the meal. Also, when we arrived, we were quite hungry, and while we were waiting for our food, they kindly served us lettuce with sekanjabin. I thought that was a very thoughtful and unique touch, and I really appreciated it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t completely satisfied with the quality of the koobideh. In my opinion, the price was quite high considering the quality of the food. We ordered two portions of koobideh and one pitcher of doogh, and the total came to $69. Personally, I didn’t feel that the food was quite worth the price. Overall, I really appreciated the warm service and these thoughtful complimentary touches. I just

6 months agoThis restaurant is always a great choice if you’re looking for healthy and delicious Persian food. The use of fresh ingredients combined with the chefs’ magical touch consistently creates amazing flavors. I’ve had the best Beryani Isfahan, Koobideh kebab, and Tabrizi meatballs here in Toronto! All absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

7 months agoThe staff were very nice and friendly and the kebab quality was good. I went there specifically to try the Beryoni. It was acceptable but there is definitely room for improvement. the quality could be much better. The rice quality could also be improved….

8 months agoGood service and a very kind, welcoming owner. The space has a nice vibe and decor, and overall the place feels warm and hospitable. The food was decent, though the portions felt a bit small for the price compared to other kabab spots. The rice was okay, not the best quality. The plates felt a bit cheap (not proper china or copper), which gave more of a budget-place vibe. Also, unlike many kabab restaurants, there were no complimentary sides like freshly baked bread, cheese, soup, or salad. Nice experience overall, with room to improve the food and presentation to match the atmosphere. I was going to give 3 stars, but added one more for the nice owner.

a month agoI’m not sure whether this restaurant has recently changed ownership or chefs, but unfortunately, the quality of the food was extremely disappointing. We ordered the Vaziri, and the koobideh was honestly one of the worst I’ve had at a Persian restaurant. The portion of meat seemed noticeably smaller compared with other Persian restaurants, and more importantly, it was not cooked properly. The chicken wasn’t much better, as parts of it were burnt. My message to the owner is simple: please take the quality coming out of your kitchen seriously. Based on our experience, the current standard of cooking is simply not acceptable for a Persian restaurant. If this continues, you will lose customers. A change in the kitchen—or at the very least, immediate attention to how the food is being prepared—is badly needed. To give credit where it’s due, the service was good, and the doogh was amazing. U

Edited a year agoI won't dine in this restaurant again. The food proportion was very low compared to price. I visited with friends and we have been to many other persian restaurants before, and we were all unsatisfied in here. The koobideh was very small and thin, and the price was more than other restaurants.

a year agoDish I ordered went up to $30 from $20. They blamed that the price of chicken went up and the price I showed them was less than a year ago. Minus well say the tariffs are to blame for the increase in price. New owners, sad to see the old owners sold the place. Looks like the new owners are making up lost costs but this is not how you do it. Does my dish look $30 to you?

a month agoThe Beryan was very low quality. My wife and I had it for lunch, but we would not recommend it to anyone. The meat smelled bad and tasted old.

Edited a year agogot ripped off by Uber that blamed the restaurant for $73. Restaurant excepted delivery and report they were making food while within less then a min of ordered i tried to cancel because uber used wrong credit card and instead of canceling and re ordering uber charged me $73 (full price of order) because the restaurant said they were making food , i went to restaurant while speaking to Uber and the restaurant claimed that they don't understand Uber but they for sure didn't make the food (fyi i still got the food i want and waited for them to cook it and paid ) , so i dealt with uber and Uber refused refund as they say they paid restaurant. the restaurant lied to Uber by saying they were making the food when i double check in person they were not. i am out $73and restaurant just made $73 doing nothing other then playing i dont know how to use APP. the restaurant could have given me my

2 months agoI’ve tried so many Persian restaurants, and honestly, Iran Zamin is one of the best when it comes to quality! Their prices may be a little higher than some other places, but the quality is absolutely worth it. Compared to restaurants that charge less, the difference in the quality of the food is very noticeable. The kebabs, rice, and everything else are always excellent. The portions are also very good, and the customer service is great. On top of that, the presentation of the food is beautiful, which makes the whole experience even better. I absolutely love this restaurant and highly recommend it. They definitely deserve 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐

Portions are extremely small judging by the price you pay $32 (taxes included).
