My mom and I went there to buy few items on Friday. We wanted to buy coldcut and the owner was the one behind the counter. We asked for 200grams of the persian coldcut, the owner was very rude saying at first we dont have what you are looking for, once he found it he said 200grams is only 5 slices why do you want only this much. When my mom said what is this service, the owner very rudely, lady why are you complaining so much. At the end he ended up cutting about 400grams of coldcut and not giving the weight of it until checkout as they do not have a weight machine behind the counter. Our experience was horrible, the owners are very rude and not polite towards customers. I will not be shopping there any more.

I really love Super Vatan! Their meats are always fresh, and their Barbari bread is excellent. Ali Agha is incredibly down-to-earth, kind, and wise. He genuinely takes the time to help you find what you need, rather than trying to sell you what he wants. His honesty and excellent customer service are truly appreciated. Highly recommended!

Good customer service. The store is clean. They have the best fresh meat & prices aren't bad comparison to other places. From now on, I will only buy my meat from them. Plus their meat is also halal. They also cut and clean it for you as well.

If you’re living in Newmarket or Aurora or Richmond Hill, Super Vatan is a great local grocery store with good prices and a nice selection of products. The staff are friendly, and it’s a convenient place for everyday shopping. I recommend it to anyone living in the area.

⭐ 1 Star I had a very disappointing experience at SuperVatan. The customer service was honestly terrible. I tried to ask a simple question, but was met with rudeness and zero willingness to help. In particular, Ali was extremely disrespectful and dismissive — not just once, but on multiple occasions. It’s one thing for service to be slow or understaffed, but it’s another to be treated with such a lack of basic courtesy. I left feeling frustrated and completely unheard. I really hope the management takes customer feedback seriously, because as of now, I won’t be returning — and I won’t be recommending this place to anyone.

Items are often rung up at higher prices than those displayed, and instead of an apology, the cashier simply returns the difference as if it’s no big deal. I have been going to this store for a few years or more. At first I enjoyed the experience but it went downhill. I bought some fresh flat bread and paid at cashier, noticed something black, like a bug crawling on the wall behind the owner, it was a cockroach! I didn't say anything. Felt embarrassed for him and the woman next to me who noticed it too. On my next visit I couldn't find a grocery basket so I just loaded up my arms with the groceries, placed them on the counter cause it was heavy. I didn't know what else to do. I ran back for something else and in the meantime the owner who was busy with a Persian customer, speaking in his language, and going through their groceries cashing them out, by the way, these persian customers had all kinds of stuff on the counter. The nuts are all rotten, smells like sh....! No principal, one day you go there there's no food, the other day they close earlier .... I personally prefer to go all the way to aurora, rather than going to vatan store!!!!
