Roses New York Restaurant

This place was shockingly good. We were just looking for a late night place for food at around 11pm and this was the only place around open late. I didn’t expect much from them but man did they deliver! We ordered the poutine and burger and the fries were nice and crispy, the burger was good. Beer was iced cold. I am so glad to have found this place cause it’s for sure my fave new late night spot.

Had an amazing experience at Roses New York Downtown! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with plenty of options to satisfy every taste. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both a casual meal and a night out with friends. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Great food, excellent service, and a fantastic downtown location, everything you could ask for in a restaurant. I highly recommend Roses New York Downtown and will definitely be coming back again soon!

I would go back, but it wouldn’t be my first choice in the area. Pros: • The kebab was tender and flavorful, although it lacked the smoky charcoal taste I was expecting. • The French fries were excellent, as well as the rice. • The music playing was really good. Cons: • The cheeseburger was average and didn’t stand out. • The service was average. We visited near closing time after what seemed to be a busy day, so it was understandable.

We rented a condo down the street and just what I was looking for, tiny little pub around the corner with delicious pub food and a bar with great blues/jazz music. I recommend this place. 1 minute walk to Lake Ontario

Roses New York is one of those places that tries to be everything at once… and kind of succeeds sometimes 😅 Huge menu, chill vibes, and surprisingly good kebabs. Perfect for late-night cravings when you don’t know what you want. Not the most exciting spot in Toronto, but definitely a solid, no-pressure choice.

We had a good service but we had to leave with our meal bearly touched because I had a bite on the green pepper in our dinner plate. I had salmon which is normally served without any spicy sides...no warning on the strength of the pepper as well...but I burned myself so bad with the pepper it ruined my meal and my evening. What a bad experience.

Food was delicious and the menu has everything from pizza to tandoori.

This place is simply amazing!! The portion sizes and the preparation style is mind-blowing. The star of this place is their Chef Omar (I hope this is how it's spelled) but his food simply is the perfect chef's kiss 🤌 must try their breakfast menu!!

We were here to watch the game. They play via IPTV which is an illegal. Charging min 40 dollars per person. It is now 3.32pm the game day and we had to leave. They couldn’t even play it properly. Waste of time energy and money and everything. Speechless

Roses New York is a chain restaurant and lounge located in the downtown Fort York area. They operate from Wednesdays to Sundays between 9 am and 3 pm for brunch. However, based on both first-hand experience and previous reviews, it appears that you should avoid coming here for the rude service and experience. During our visit, we had a group of six that decided to try Roses due to busy brunch places nearby around 1:15 pm. Unfortunately, the service proved to be highly unsatisfactory, and the food itself was lacklustre. We found ourselves subject to sluggish service from the kitchen and inattentive staff members who neglected to refill their water glasses or provide updates on the progress of their orders. To our dismay, midway through the wait, we were informed that groups of six or more are automatically charged an 18% gratuity but were not notified at the entrance. When we inquired ab

Food was good a bit pricey 5 years ago! 2018 Now service just killed me today. Yesterday December 28 2023 and last week I received a breakfast special. 6.99. However service today was garbage i came in asking for the breakfast special they denied me. Ok I explained I just had it yesterday with picture to prove it and showed this lady. She said let me check ok I’m a property manager across the street I manage a city block so I went to finish up some work. I came back 20 minutes later and requested for an update. The lady said our banner is not up that has the breakfast deal. I said it’s online on your website. She said go have a seat. I went to sit and this lady was on her phone not even asking how I want my food. The cook came out another lady who whipped her nose with her bare fingers and whipped them off on her cooking gown. I walked out cause that is nasty. I will only eat there again

This place is a joke. If I could give it 0 stars I would. We were told they didn't have coffee and only Earl Grey tea. Then 40 minutes later there was magically coffee. The coffee was cold and tasted bitter. My friend got her meal eggs Benedict and was charged 4$ extra for the ham. I ordered eggs, bacon and toast. They told me they were too busy to make poached eggs so I ordered sunny side up. When my meal came I got cold eggs and ham, no bacon. We were charged 40$ for our meal even though we saw the sign for the early bird special and were within the time frame. Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!

Nice place for late night food, service it's quick and meals are usually tasty
