5 stars for very friendly and intimate customer service. Today we went to Papa pastry and honestly that was one the best experiences. That was the first time that we went to papa pastry and we only wanted to buy a small box. Aidin(1) was the person who helped us to choose and buy and she was so full of energy and friendly during the conversation for choosing sweets. I think especially these days cause every Iranian are in the political pressure these behaviours from cashiers and servers are rare and also necessary. And also the quality of pastry is so good!

The pastries are delicious and taste very fresh, but the packaging is extremely disappointing. The cardboard box became completely soaked with oil from the pastries, leaving large, ugly grease stains all over the bottom. It looked messy and unappetizing and made the box almost embarrassing to give as a gift. For pastries of this quality, the packaging should be much better. A proper grease-resistant liner or higher-quality box would easily solve this problem. Great pastries, but the packaging seriously needs improvement.

Amazing customer service and such kind staff. They carefully weighed the cake before packaging it, which showed professionalism and honesty. She also offered us complimentary cream puffs and even gave us a free candle after finding out it was for a birthday. And honestly, the best pistachio cake ever. I will definitely come back whenever we visit from the USA!

Sweet, fresh, tasty, and lovely. We had noon khameie, Saffron rollet, Napeloni, and Morabaee. All were great, but for me the Saffron rollet was something else. and good thing that they were not too sweet.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The cake for my baby girl was absolutely beautiful and turned out even better than I imagined. Every little detail was done with so much care, and not only did it look amazing, it tasted incredible too!

I bought the cake from Papa’s pastry On Monday, September 5, I discovered there was a human hair in there, so I did contact them and they were so careless. I did go back to the store and I found that they’re being very rude and disrespectful. I thought to let everyone know about this matter, Very disappointed. with their attitude and unprofessional customer service I did contact Toronto Public Health and also documenting Information to North organization of Canada through my lawyer

Every time we come to Toronto, we always stop by PAPA for Persian sweets. They have such a big selection — pastries, desserts, nuts, and so many other treats. It’s always hard to choose just one thing, so we usually get a little bit of everything. We’ve been here many times, and everything is always so good. PAPA is definitely one of our favorite places in Toronto for Persian sweets.

Cake was good but unfortunately if you are not Persian or something, they cost more :/ I wanted to eat their cake again from delivery and I tried to use uber eats. But on uber eat app, same cake was $1.3 cheaper. It's not a lot of money but you guys make me feel bad thank you🙂

Very disappointing experience. The cake looked fine, but the cream was clearly old and tasted spoiled. It had a bad smell and the texture was awful. It honestly felt like they were selling leftover cake from previous days. For a bakery, freshness should be the most basic thing. I definitely won’t be coming back

A friend of mine last year told me they bought sweet (slab) from papa pastry and it was good. I usually buy sweets from Ana Pastry or Garni Bakery but this time I tried Papa and toke the sweet to our friend’s party. However, when I tried that there, I figured out the sponge was too old and as a result nobody ate rest of the sweets. I am too angry with Papa because if sweet is too old they should inform the customers and let them decide to buy or not. Nobody told us that those sweets are from last week. We will never ever buy anything from them anymore.

Very disappointed. This cake was extremely dry and had almost no taste at all. It honestly felt like an old, stale cake that had been sitting for days. The appearance was okay, but the quality was very poor. I definitely do not recommend this place based on this experience. Waste of money.
