I’ve been coming here for years, despite the owner often being rude and unfriendly. I kept returning because the service was usually quick, the work was decent, and I wasn’t overly particular. Unfortunately, my last two visits changed that. I’ve had the exact same nude French ombré for about three years. This time, my regular technician decided to change the base colour without asking. When I noticed it was much pinker than usual, she told me she thought my previous colour looked “too white,” so she chose something different. I explained that I specifically don’t like pink and asked if she could fix it. Instead of restoring the original ombré, she simply added another layer of white polish, leaving my nails looking like a solid, chalky white rather than the soft ombré French I had requested. She apologized and said she’d fix it next time, but still charged me full price for the ombré s

I've been visiting Avenue nails & spa every two weeks for the past two years, and it's truly been the best experience ever—it only gets better each time! I've tried so many nail salons before, but this is the only one that consistently meets my expectations. Lily is amazing—she always makes sure I'm happy with her work, and she never disappoints. They’re friendly, skilled, and professional. I highly recommend their services! 💕

I have been coming regularly for a year but it was the worst experience of my life I will never come again they did a sloppy job to do it fast you can't finish a nail in half an hour their shapes are also terrible I risk scratching myself they are extremely sharp and If you say something about you don’t like it, they coming to get mad. I’ll change my nails from another nail salon. I’m so regret for the come this salon. WASTE MONEY

Had such a great experience at Avenue Nails! The place is always spotless and refreshing - you can tell they really care about keeping it clean. The vibe is super relaxing, and everyone there is so kind and welcoming. After trying so many nail salons at Yonge&Eglinton(and after so many disappointments), I decided to keep coming here because no other place cares like them! Seriously! Tiana was amazing! She took her time, paid attention to the little details, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. My nails look exactly as I wanted( short, almond shape, clean looking) you can tell she really knows what she’s doing. 👌 Also, a big shoutout to Jenny, the owner. She’s so warm and genuinely cares about her clients, which really shows in how the whole place is run. Honestly, such a great spot! This Place is such a gem. I almost don't want to gatekeep .... :-/ I walked in without an appointment early Saturday Morning and was able to get a nail tech to do a Shellac Mani and Regular Pedi. The Spa looks quite new and as such very clean, which I enjoyed (Especially Living in Post-Covid Times). The interiors are well decorated, the waiting area is especially warm & welcoming . They have a good variety of colours to choose from and the polishes weren't hard and stale - which I find is a common issue in nail shops recently. The Nail Tech did a good job with my french mani but I would have loved if she had more of an input on what colours would go well with my skin tone/or suggest to me what new styles are on trend (There was none of that lol). ALL in all I had a pleasant experience & I will be back, especially since the prices are super reasonable for the area!

This place is a hit-or-miss: sometimes they do a nice job and sometimes they don’t. After visiting many times, I will say that it’s more often a miss at this point, which is unfortunate.

Extremely rude Jenny! No apologies whatsoever ! After my pedicure I had a severe pain on the side of my nail. I went in just to ask for some help to see if my usual tech could try to file the side of the nail a bit for me, she was so rude kept telling me they couldn’t help me. I have always tipped so much and tried to remain kind even when they are rude . Zero customer service!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Avenue Nails for many years, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I called to book an appointment yesterday and secured a 12:15 slot for my grandma and me. However, at 11:50, I received a call informing me that my nail technician was overbooked and couldn’t take me. I still went to the salon for my grandma’s appointment, but the owner, Jenny, was incredibly rude and unapologetic about the situation. Instead of acknowledging their mistake or offering any form of compensation for the inconvenience, she defensively said, “You’ve canceled last minute on us in the past too!” As a business, it’s unprofessional to treat a paying customer this way. If I cancel, you have walk-ins to fill the spot, but when you overbook and waste my time, the least you can do is apologize sincerely. This experience was the final straw for me. I will never be return

I just called them to book an appointment to do nails and toes. One of the ladies said they are busy of course I understand it is the last min, After I asked only for my one broken nail to fix it kind of urgent situation she still says come tomorrow :) Seriously one nail needs to be fixed will take 5 min and she is saying come tomorrow. I am not coming at all if there is no help for 5 min.

My go to nail salon... absolutely love it. Super reliable and skilled technicians. Went before Toronto went back into lockdown and they were extremely careful and safe. Social distancing was in place as well as clear dividers between you and the technician. 100% recommend. Super convenient location as well. Parking available in front of store as well as on Joicey BLVD.

I've had really great experiences here. The staff is very nice and friendly. And the quality of the service is superb. I went to get a bio gel full set and have been coming back to get fills. Last time, I got a cat's eye by Hami. And omg she is so talented. I am super happy with the results

Pedicure was relaxing with leg and foot massage, bio gel fill was perfect too.
